This is becoming ridiculous. Not sure whether to be pleased that we seem set to win PL2 at a canter or cross that it is happening at least in part because of our failure to get lads out on loan.

As Philips is on the first team bench……it’s a good benchmark for Dorrington , who has certainly looked as good in the first few matches.
we sometimes judge players on how much they cost. Just because Phillips has been bought for 2m it does not mean he is better than Dorrington. If Dorrington keeps progressing I can see him getting in the squad.

It's been addressed elsewhere that he's working in an advisory capacity. I imagine he's still got an eye on talent and making recommendations to the club. There were pictures of him from outside the ground after the UTD game I think.
