quick question for the youth watchers, are any of the young defenders anywhere near being able to step into the first team squad in the event of injuries or suspensions? A neighbour of mine keeps raving about Patoski, but, he is a little biased being of Estonian origin!

Paskotsi has had a tough couple of years with heart complications from Covid. Phillips and Dorrington are now probably ahead of him and Sayers.

Ashcroft at right back missed most of last season with injury but has come back strong.

Dorrington, for me, the most ready but still a 40 game loan away development wise.

In the under 21 games so far this season, Dortington has been really impressive . Pace, bringing the ball out from the back, going on runs up to the opponents area.
it’s only under 21 football but he is looking good.
will be interesting to see this team in the Papa Johns or whatever they call it. Playing against proper teams.

Disappointing that we didn’t get more lads out on loan. The older lads need to be experiencing men’s football rather than blocking opportunities for the younger lads coming through. The U21 squad is looking quite bloated.

3-0. Two goals in three minutes from Olusesi and Moore puts us firmly in control.

FT 3-0 win. Irow, Olusesi and Moore with the goals. Great start to the defense of the U18 PL Cup.
