IIRC we wanted to sign a teammate of his at the same time but for whatever reason it didn’t happen, his name escapes me but I’m sure he’s at Leeds now.

Thanks, knew he was initially selected to U20, but Henry Winter on twitter mentioned U21 when pointing out Devine training with senior squad hence the question. Probably a typo from him.

Well that's a shame. If not for his injuries/health concerns then I think there was potential for him to get into the first team.

Watch out for captain Chris Rigg (Sunderland) and Brighton's 15 year old Freddie Simmonds.
