I understand, but I believe he can be sold. Craig imho has a higher ceiling. My opinion ofcourse.
Look forward to seeing how good Craig is if that’s the case, but I think we really under rate skipp been watching him closely this year and actually think he’s quite good just doesn’t get respect because of the role he plays

proper spurs goal. Scarlett goes down the left, great cross into Devine running in, side foots in the air, into the net.
alfie has already hit the bar.

Good to see Axel Piesold getting a pro contract at recently promoted Luton. We let him go a couple of months after he signed a scholarship with us because we didn't think he was going to get back to his best after a bad injury. Another former Spurs schoolboy has also been offered a pro-deal after a really good couple of years, in Zack Nelson.

Given the club statement on the new manager I wonder if there’ll be any youngsters stepping up and making an impact in the coming months.

Are the likes of Devine, Scarlet or Lankshear anywhere near ready?

Devine is the closest but not quite there imo, but I would be happy to see him get a Championship loan next season.

I would have no problem with seeing Parrot, White, Scarlett, Devine, or if he stays, Mundle, involved with the first team. Redknapp showed how to make use of youngsters when involved in multiple competitions. However, with no UEFA and a bloated squad it’s doubtful if any of them would get enough game time to make it worthwhile. Better to send them out on loan.

I think its very likely that Devine and Scarlett head out on loan, probably in the Championship. Lankshear, if he stays fit, will be sharing the 9 shirt with Donley in the U23s. Donley is also an excellent 10 so the two of them work well together as a pairing as well. I think Harvey White will go out on loan again. Mundle is probably leaving. It wouldn't surprise me if Matthew Craig heads out on loan & possibly Yagi Santiago, Mxaim Paskotsi & Charlie Sayers. We already know Soonsup-Bell will be looking for a loan next season, I believe that was a condition of his signing for us. That's what most of these lads need. They don't need more U23s football and they're not quite ready to replace a member of the first team squad.

The likes of Abbott, Gunter, Dorrington and Kyerematen will be playing a lot of games for the U23s & Jaden Williams looks like he is leaving. That takes care of everyone I can think of who could be in contention.

Before anyone asks about Mikey Moore, I think its very, very unlikely that he'll be involved with the first team next season. He's a hugely talented kid but he lacks size, strength and maturity/experience. He'll be playing a lot of U23 football next season.

That was the long answer. The short answer is that I don't think anyone is well placed to make the breakthrough next season with the one possible exception of Devine, although I still think a loan is more likely.

I wonder how Donley fits into a Postecoglu team (assuming he sticks to 4-3-3), does anyone think he can adapt to CM to play the 8/10 hybrid role?

Not yet. In the future maybe. I still see him as a forward though.
