He’s not even really off form, he was far from his best against southampton but still dangerous, even if you only focus on his output he got an assist for the Dier goal and an assist for royal (which Salisu put in his own net).

As for the chelsea game, none of the front 3 were good enough really but as a team we didn’t play to their strengths and struggled to get the ball into them quick enough
Exactly mate, it's dumb thinking Conte is going to drop him.

Going forward our best starting 11 will feature Son and one or two others who may not feature tomorrow. Against Chelsea it difficult to judge players. As a team we did well. We are a team (last year 11) playing with confidence and should beat Wolves. Don’t need wholesale changes.

I think it is going to be a really tough game tomorrow. Wolves have had our number over the last couple of seasons and we will need to be at it from the start. Hopefully their new signings aren't quite ready either as Guedes and Nunes are both quality additions.

Some talk on Wolves forum Raul is back.
Nunez and him make a strong looking team IF they play. But little time to gel, I still fear Traore the most
No idea how Wolves line up, strong suspicion will be a really tough game and a great three points IF we win

If we can get this win, that would be +7 points compared to last years results right?

Have to go out and make a statement tomorrow, early kick off, lets get another convincing home performance done to show this place will be a fortress this season.

Predicting a frustrating game. Wolves match up with us really well and they don’t concede many. Romero out is a big blow. They won recently in the corresponding fixture last season and have impressive results against the top teams.

I just want to see a good performance especially after last Sunday.

I just never like these early kick offs. We always seem to be so slow paced.

Fingers crossed we turn on the style.

Exactly mate, it's dumb thinking Conte is going to drop him.

Richarlison changed the game last time out. Admittedly he was running at tired players, but he put them under pressure and forced mistakes. If Sonny doesn't get amongst it tomorrow I think it's fair if he gets subbed off earlier this time. It's what competition for places is all about.

I don't disagree with this, but that's not dropping him.

The term isn’t dropping. When you have a squad as good as ours and the significant number of games it’s called rotation.
When you're only playing once per week, its dropping mate....but if it makes you happy:

It’s dumb thinking Conte is going to rotate him.

There's nothing wrong with rotation, I'm all for it. But of course wherever possible, it should strengthen the team.
I can see that Bissouma and Perisic might strengthen the team tomorrow, but not sure about Richarlison. Of course he will start soon, but maybe not tomorrow.

I think we will beat Wolves. It will be a slog for sure. I feel our bench will overpower them over the 90 minutes. We have gamechangers who can come on and literally switch the game in our favor if things aren't going well.

I'm fairly confident we will beat them 3-1. Our front trio to get a goal a piece.

If we can’t beat them at home with us fully fresh, then having injury problems… a new formation… out of form and struggling for goals then we haven’t improved at all

The word 'dropping' always has such negative connotations, as in, 'you weren't good enough so you're out'. 'Rotation' is much more inclusive of the squad as a whole. I know it doesn't make a huge amount of difference overall, but we know how fragile a lot of players egos are. Yaya had a melt down over a fucking Birthday cake FFS!

Would like to see Biss, Rich and Perisic start this weekend but know that’s unlikely.

Look at the way City rotate. None of their players seem to give the impression they are pissed off. Yes I know they make a billion a week but every footballer wants to play (apart from Tanguy). They all respect that they need to be rotated for the benefit of the team and (most) still come on and play a blinder or change a game.

That’s a great mentality to set and I think we’re getting to a place with our squad where we can rotate and and it not always be seen as a negative. It’s great to have competition for positions.

8-0 Spurs Kane with 4

Wing backs are key in these type of games, so hopefully Perisic starts.

Very surprised at Doherty’s lack of game time given his form before his injury. Offers so much to our attack.
