Really poor last 20 after dominating, but no point in knee jerk reaction. Mourinho will be learning mentality of a couple of players. Bale had sloppy start, but then if his shot was a good or so to the left, it would have been a different story.

That’s not on Jose tbh. Those are all individual avoidable mistakes. Two free kicks given away not defended amazingly and one OG which should be headed out of touch. 3-0 up at home against any team you should be able to see it out with 80 mins on the clock. We’ve just unfortunately bought a lot of duds over the last 5 years.

As soon as they got that free kick that wasn’t a free kick in the last seconds we all knew what was going to happen.

He was barely moving for the last ten minutes he was on.

I know but even in that condition he's the most reliable midfielder.

The team dropped off (Holberg isn't a factor now) and there was no one to pass through in midfield.

If only Lo Celso wasn't injured.

Ah bollocks.

Focus on the positive. For 80 minutes we made a decent West Ham high on confidence and goals look second rate.
Really for 80 minutes? Must have watched different game to me I’d say for 50 minutes West Ham were the better team! the game really did have that feel of if they got one goal then more would follow. but it is beyond amaterish to concide three goals in final 10 minutes!

I know we're not a possesion team anymore but you cant play so much of the game in your own half. Sanchez and Aurier are at the center of every fkin balls up in our defence and concedeing goals game after game after game.

People honestly saying to was down to some specific player? Get a grip.

It was because we absolutely stop pushing for more at half time. I never understood that mentality and never will, finish the job in front of you then put your feet up.
We did push as much as we needed to. You don't go all guns blazing when you're 3-0 up because you shouldn't need to. A team like us should be able to comfortably see that out.

We pushed when we needed to, hit the post, and created a few more chances so the problem isn't the attackers - it's poor concentration, complacency and sloppiness on the part of a select few players.

Bloke doesn't give away the ball. He's different to Dembele but has a very similar function with the forward passes to boot. Seems like exactly the player you want on in these circumstances. Don't have an issue with bringing Winks on, but no idea why Sissoko wasn't the one hooked.
We lost control of the match instantly when he came on. Instantly. What good is tidy passing ability if he’s not actually getting on the ball and keeping us ticking over? He offers nothing off the ball.

so angry.

Shit tactics in the second half. Shit game management. Shit subs.

Ndombele off and we lost control in the middle. Bergwijn works so hard defensively and we put Bale on.

Was it Mourinhos instruction to defend the lead rather than keep a tempo.? Who knows. But fucking awful.

The Moura for Son was a rest Son move not a see the game out move.
I thought Lucas was going to be able to snap at them in their half we didn't do that in which case we should have brought on a defender.
Not sure we deserved that though fortune favoured the brave at the end.

OGs can happen to anyone. Sanchez was better than Toby for most of the game - covered more space and called the shots.

didn't look the same when Ndombele went off.

You can look back on the Kane shot to make it 4-0, or Bale to make it 4-2, but we took it down a notch on the second half and they took it up one.

We thought the game was won. Ironically had it been 1-0 at HT, i think we may have won it. Jose needs to do something to drill this out of the them
