Two changes from the big win at United last time out, with Toby Alderweireld and Steven Bergwijn coming in for Eric Dier and Erik Lamela, both of whom miss out through injury. New striker Carlos Vinicius, signed on loan from Benfica, is also on the bench for the first time.

TEAM FORM: Spurs - WDWWW --------West Ham - LWWLW ---
(All Competitions)

The knives were quickly out for David Moyes after West Ham opened their campaign with losses to Newcastle and Arsenal, but many observers did note encouraging signs versus the Gunners. United built on that display by thrashing Wolves 4-0 at London Stadium and then secured a stunning 3-0 success away to high-flying Leicester.

As well as being organised at the back, the Hammers have been a constant threat on the break through Michail Antonio, Jarrod Bowen and Pablo Fornals.
Assistant manager Alan Irvine beamed: “Everyone is doing their job and doing their job extremely well. “The shape of the team is fantastic, in and out of possession, and the players have showed a great work ethic and commitment to each other.” Failing to capture Burnley centre-back James Tarkowski in the transfer window was a blow, but recruiting Craig Dawson on a season-long loan from Watford looks solid business. “I know he will be a great addition to the dressing room – he is a committed and determined character.” Mourinho and Moyes are better known for building from the back, but our sides are currently in cracking form up front.

We began a run of four games in eight days in frustrating fashion when drawing 1-1 with Newcastle at home,, due to conceding a controversial stoppage-time spot-kick. However, we bounced back to beat Chelsea in the EFL Cup via a penalty shoot-out and then crushed Maccabi Haifa 7-2 in the Europa League. The best was yet to come, though, as we recovered from going behind inside two minutes at Old Trafford to smash Manchester United 6-1.

Midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg reacted to that admirable run of results by stating: “The word for me is character. “It shows that there is only one thing we are going for and that is to win every single game we are playing. “Of course, you need quality and fit players, but for me the character really stands out that we keep going and keep pushing and that is very nice to be part of.”

Son and Harry each hit a double at Old Trafford, with Tanguy and Serge also getting on the scoresheet as we made an impressive statement.
Former Real Madrid and Sevilla full-back Sergio Reguilon has slotted in nicely and we still have both the return to action of Gareth Bale and Lo Celso to look forward to.

Lets hope Jose not now revert to type and put the brakes on on our red-hot attacking play.

I really hope we continue where we left off against Man Utd. Man Utd was a gauge as to where we were as team going forward this season, a test we passed with flying colours. I honestly believe we could be title contenders, if we are not complacent and take each game, one game at a time.

Saying all that, despite whatever form they are in, West Ham usually raise their game and always give us a good fight.

We're creating tons of chances every game now, so as long as we're not complacent, we should overwhelm this lot.

Plus Vini and Bale could feature too, which gives us further firepower.

Yeah this will probably be a bit of a scrap.
That said we'll have too much for them in the end.

3-1 Spurs.

wet spam have shown a bit of form in recent weeks. Coupled with Mark Noble's mutation into Andrea Pirlo for this one game of the season, I think it could be tight. If we can get an early goal, that would help.

Yet to win at home in the league and now West Ham come and visit. They always raise to Barcelona level against us for some reason. We need to score early and then just keep going. I don't think many teams can contain Son at the moment, so as long as he can get into the game, we could run riot again. Let alone this new fella we got who plays on the right.

Any win against the eel munchers is welcome but I think we will have too much for them on Sunday

Fully expect them to be lined up to hit us on the break, so this will likely be a frustrating game. Bale to score a screamer to break the deadlock and win the game.
