Just in case it's a boring game , couple of Harry Redknapp quotes on West Ham.

“Even when they had Moore, Hurst and Peters, West Ham’s average finish was about 17th. It just shows how useless the other eight of us were.” On his playing days with West Ham.

“First of all I had to find the bloody cabinet, when I eventually did, I opened the doors and out flew 2 bats, 3 Japanese soldiers and Lord Lucan!” On West Hams trophy cabinet.

No way these quotes are true :X3:

COYS !...Smash the arse outta it.

Had a nice chilled weekend, don't want to spoil the last knockings of it now and evoke the full Ronnie Pickering in me.

Would be nice to see Bale get some minutes. I’m just afraid of someone clattering him on purpose.

Sorry, but that is illogical. Do you never want to play the likes of Bale, Kane and Son in case someone kicks them then?

Great looking squad today. I think Davies and to a certain extent Doherty (played there for Ireland recently) being comfortable at centre back allows Jose to pick some really threatening bench lineups with tonnes of options.

The fact that Lamela, Gio, Dele, Tanganga, Dier & Rodon aren't even included in the squad and we still put out an eleven + bench like that is unbelievable. I'm not envious of Mourinho if he finds himself with a fully fit squad down the line. A few really experienced and good players having to watch from the stands.

Because Hojbjerg was playing in a position further upfield for a match a half, 2nd half against Southampton was better after Jose addressed it.

And we found better balance in midfield without Winks.

I wonder what the issue with Dele is this week

If you look at the options from our bench, all eventualities are covered.

So I don't think there's anything sinister in leaving Dele out, it's more of a case of he doesn't fit in. Our squad is really strong!

Sanchez had best be on it from the start. He usually struggles against a physical striker like Antonio.

He’s a strange one Sanchez, by looking at him you would think he would be great against players like Antonio but like you say he has struggled in the past

Shame GLC isn’t fit. I always feel a lot better when he’s in the team, but overall a great lineup and we finally have proper game changers from the bench. COYS

Everyone’s under the illusion that Sanchez is some unit. He’s not that broad, certainly not like Dier or Toby. His strength is his pace not his build.

Dunk just got a straight red for Brighton. So he should miss the game against us. YAY.

sorry for changing the subject...
