We are a work in progress and whilst its super exciting and we have made some great strides during this window, the league is still a step too far as we don't have the CBs or the mentality just yet, give it a year and hopefully Skriniar or similar and we really could challenge. What i am hoping for is a top 4 finish and cup.

I've been told by many on here that 27 and afterwards, is the only age i can judge Sanchez, so it looks like we will have to put up with 3 more years of him being average before he apparently transitions into a clone of VVD or near that level (as it's clear to everyone he is really progressing towards that). Really hope Rodon can come in and add some calmness to our CBs but also be a beast in the air as we get bullied too often from set pieces.

The error I think is that we have too long spells in every game in which we don’t chase goals. These too long switch off periods are too frequent and too passive.

This.

We should have been chasing a fourth, we were pathetic once we went 3-0 up letter a shitter team dominateus.

We have preferably got to stop giving away stupid free kick that allow teams we’ve outplayed to launch it into our box. If we can’t do that, we have to defend them better. Everton’s, Newcastle’s and two of the West Ham goals have all come from free kicks on our right side that we should have done better on and it’s cost us 5points at home.

Think this is more Sanchez than winks. Always shaky, has the mental strength of a squirrel in the headlights, pathetic OG and a history of clamity bullshit - going back to just the last match when the numpty gives united a pen after 40 seconds. Amazed Jose didn’t shift him out as he must see he is no where near good enough for any top 6 side. Oh, and he cost something like £35m

Really didn’t think Sanchez was that bad most of the game. Dealt with pretty much everything that came his way. OG came from poor defending from Reggie - if Sanchez hadn’t got something on it, it goes through to Bowen anyway.

Found our new scapegoat though.

I am sick of Sanchez costing us every week. Sick of it. Stop protecting him. Gave away a stupid penalty v United. Own goal and shaky all day today.

How many times are we going to see it? Hes absolutely shit
I’m done with him after today. He’s still young for a defender and has the raw ingredients to be a good player but he costs us far too often. Shouldn’t be in the team when the alternatives are fit and available.

Potential title challengers don't include players like Winks in the match day sqaud, let alone bringing him into the game. I'm done with him.

Mourinho reckons he brought some balance back to the team when he came on - so you're gonna have to get the manager sacked if you don't want Winks to feature :shifty:

It’s typical but the Lanzini goal reminded me of the screamer Matic scores against us in the FA Cup, pin point worldie.

They live on set pieces and unfortunately we obliged a couple of times too many. The last one wasn't a foul but we probably shouldn't have let get close enough to go down.

We've been shit for a couple of season now. And things just don't feel as bad when you're shit. But getting this in the face when things are generally looking rosy is incredibly painful. I'm getting CL final flashbacks from this.

Think that's pretty much ruined my Sunday. It's one of those results thats gonna bug me for the rest of the day now, no matter how I try to distract myself. Couldn't they have chosen a Saturday to do this kind of thing? At least then I could have gotten drunk!
