With two weeks solid training behind us , be dissapointing if we don't win this one.

Anybody who usually arrives via Northumberland Park Stn , it will be not be open on Saturday.

I am really hoping we see a more convincing performance in general. Whilst yes first and foremost I wan't to win I also really want to see a more well rounded display from us. I feel our showings of late have just not been up to scratch and we have significantly lacked sharpness in a few areas. Now that we have almost a full team back and have had time on the training pitch im hoping Ange has addressed some of the issues that have been cropping up in recent weeks. Yes it's only two weeks and we can't expect miracles but even so looking for more cohesion shouldn't be too unreasonable an ask.

Let's hope so.

Would be a good time for Madders to kick in to some form aswell

Can’t believe it’s only Tuesday, seems like we’ve been waiting for this for ages.
Massively need a win here to keep the gap with the chasing pack.
Surely we have to much for these.

Lots of tickets starting to show on exchange and sounds like transport might be a pain for some people.

To be fair there’s been quite a few games with loads of tickets on exchange since the Chelsea loss. Up till that point it was hard to get a single ticket when we was top of the league, the atmosphere was brilliant but it’s gone down hill since.

The game against palace will be a lot tougher than it would have been had we played it a few weeks ago with them having a new manager and tactics. You still think we have enough to get the 3 points.

What transport problems?
Several lines/stations closed.

Due to planned engineering works taking place on the line between Stratford and Meridian Water on Saturday 2 March, fans travelling on Greater Anglia services are advised to use London Liverpool Street station as Greater Anglia services to and from Meridian Water, Northumberland Park, Tottenham Hale and Stratford will not be in operation.

Furthermore, Northumberland Park station will be closed all day on Saturday. Rail replacement buses will operate between Stratford and Meridian Water.

Big game this, either means we look up the table chasing down Villa after or start looking over our shoulder. With Villa next a win is crucial really.

Also, the fact we lost at home in our previous match and that defeat felt like the culmination of some fairly average and lacklustre performances, especially compared to the way we started the season.

I think everyone was excited at the prospect of welcoming the injured and international players back and lots of people have been disappointed that their return hasn’t been matched by an upturn in our performances yet. The frustration and negativity has become more widespread since the Everton game.

It just feels like we need a big performance and result to get some of that good, start of the season feeling back. Palace at home is a game we should win, expectations will be high and in terms of the chase for fourth stakes are high too, since we could potentially be eight points adrift.

I just don't think people accounted for the disruption of getting players back together who haven't played together for a while. On paper we looked back to our best team but we've looked pre-season like. The squad players may have been a downgrade but at least they were fit and they've been involved week in week out.

Ange needs to get confidence into Biss on the half turn again. This leads to our fast “swamping” the midfield and multi attacking options.

Or Rodders/Sarr offering great options too.

Make or break for the season? I jest....a bit.

A defeat here would be a major downer because our form has been poor while picking up points and this would indicate that poor form has caught up with us. We need a bit more ruthlessness transmitted from Ange to the players. And a much faster and effective start, ala West Ham a night or two ago.

Stop this before it gains any traction..

I want Ange getting the team to attack from the half way line.

I'm sure many of us are getting frustrated by the tippy-tappy stuff around the opposition box.
It's static, hesitant, eye-of-the-needle football and more often comes without any shot or actual threat to their goal.
Nor does it really put their defence under pressure. We've become predictable.

So I would like to see players pull back to the half way line (on occasions) and drag the opposition up the field a little.
And then burst with pace and precision passing.
4 or 5 intricate, fast passes and a shot on goal. Just playing in triangles from the centre circle....but with NITRO PACE and heading towards goal.
It might come to nothing quite often, but so do many of our moves.
But if we could work on phase play where 4-5 players are running with real pace from a standstill, then that could confuse the opposition and give us much needed impetus and momentum.
More fun for the players as well.

Whatever happens, we need to generate more pace in our phases of play. Attack from the half way line, why not.
