Well that was much more like it.


Just seemed a lot sharper, and as a result there were a lot more options for the men in possession, didn't really have to do much in the second half but still created a fair bit and could/should have added to our first half haul.

Thoroughly enjoyed that. Ref seemed a bit keen with the yellows, but great to see us get back to winning well.

It appeared we started with alot more energy, and just looked like we were totally up for this one.

Best first half for about 2 years. The movement with the ball and the aggression without it was top drawer. Every 45 mins should be like that. Noticeable how many fouls we gave away within 3 secs of losing the ball in their half. That's what Man C (especially!) and Liverpool do, and it's what we did when we had the best defence in the league.

Early goal may have changed things but they put 11 behind the ball. We were just to sharp and quick with our passing.

Good point with the CL coming up... that’s the way the 2nd half panned out .

Best we've played for a while in that first half. Fantastic energy and intensity, from the very first minute. Looked great on the break, and clinical in front of goal. Cruised the second half, but kept a clean sheet which was just as pleasing.

Gotta have the same performance on Wednesday..............COYS!!!!
