I think we have the players in the main. The problem is the style we play.

Agree with that. Despite the CL run we've only actually had a handful of top performances in the past year.

At this point I'm just hopeful the new signings can inspire us cos we look very set in our ways otherwise.

There were many moments where you could have thrown a towel over three of them around the D.

That's been highlighted as a problem for the 3rd game in a row.

This is either a coaching issue or an application issue.

People saying we don't pass it forward enough are not watching the game. I'd implore a lot of you to not follow the ball in a lot of these matches and watch what the front four are doing.

You just see a narrow bunch doing random things, all playing up against the defence, hidden behind the opposition midfield, walking not finding space, and waiting for the ball to be progressed into the final third before we try to do some random individual stuff to pick the lock. Often it's fucking impossible to try and find them.

It will be a torturous struggle to break teams down with such a lack of attacking idea and drilled ways to construct possession and attacks, its a massive oversight we need to do much better at.

If our back four didn’t pass it around while creeping up the pitch we wouldn’t be so cramped, they need to get it forward to the midfield earlier

Quite possible. Maybe he has utter faith in how we set up and just believes that if he persists then it will work out but I don't see how it can when the opposition can easily work us out.

It's been like it for at least a season the press has disappeared, the defence is getting worse by the week and the player's just don't seem to have any motivation, next week should be a blast last year we conceded four in a NLD can see much the same again

I get that Eriksen's mindset might not be ideal right now, but with Ndombele out, Lo Celso not yet fit, surely a less than focused Eriksen still needs to be playing this game.

I don't rate him but it's made worse that in this line up his is the only and key creative player. Lamela plays best when he can supplement Eriksen and Alli, nowhere near good enough to do this job on his own.

Winks is not a DCM. Positioning defensively is poor. Verts has to come on at LCB. Lo Celso has to come on in CM. Eriksen has to come on in CAM.

Patience these changes will get made with 5 minutes to go that's the normal way
