Starting to think this is the first time we've seen a Mourinho team playing the Mourinho way - we've looked a wee bit shaky since he signed on, and that's fair enough until the squad start to get used to his tactic, shape, etc.

Reckon today will be a watershed moment for convincing any doubters in the dressing room that Mourinho's system could indeed work, now that he's established who does what where.

GLC has been class, clart - you knows it. Ndombele is very attack minded but opposed to Eriksen he keeps the ball on the floor a lot more, and Bergwijn was looking like he was enjoying himself - glad all three have apparently settled in so quickly. Jose still loves Dier though, I mean, Dele will be jealous but Jose hasn't stopped making eyes and kissy faces at Eric since before he was even our manager :p

Fernandinho's absolute immunity from the laws of the game continues unabated.

Really enjoying how we’re maintaining our discipline and defending as a team

Fernandinho is such a dirty bastard, and I’m sure I’ve said that exact like several times in the past. ****.

I was just wondering what his record is like. I’ve not exactly watched a lot of a City games to judge, but that looked like a very practised cynical move

I thought the cup game against Southampton showed the first signs of Mourinho's philosophy. Today seems to have built on it.

Lloris MOTM for me. 2 really important saves in the first half and has looked confident throughout.
