Fuck Sterling! How is he not called out more often for diving? He does this shit almost every game and is naughty on the pitch. Tired of the love from everyone he’s been getting
If that was Dele's tackle on Sterling you can guarantee he'd have been off as well.

We've been shite on the ball but I think we were actually pretty good defensively aside from a couple of individual errors. We look well organised and Lo Celso, Winks, Tanganga and even Aurier have had some excellent defensive moments.

If we're going to play as a counter attacking side we need to massively improve our passing under pressure, though. We've wasted so many opportunities today and you just can't afford to give the ball away cheaply against a side like City.

There is trying to specifically counter attack though, like last weekend, and then there is just playing park the bus like today. We're pushed back so deep that today our defence + cm2 are more often than not just forced to be clearing their lines and getting the ball out of the area. It isn't going to be pretty.

What needs to happen is that the half a dozen times we do manage to get into a counter attack situation is accuracy. As I just in a post we've had a few times where Son, Moura, Alli, Bergwijn have found themselves on the ball and space ahead of them, it's got to be more decisive and I'd just like to see them travel with the ball and go at the City defence with purpose.

So let me get this right

The commentators saying that if we had scored before the VAR call it would have been ruled out and City go ahead with the penalty. So what if a player got a red card before the call back from VAR would that have been ruled out too?

I was wondering the same thing. I think if it was serious foul play it would stand as a red. If it was a second yellow for say handball then maybe it wouldn’t. Interesting question.

I'd take Alli off and put on Ndom, try and get some stability in midfield.

Need to provide more capability to give them something to worry about, absolutely no way we'll last like this, not when we're not offering anything offensively.

How long will Jose wait to make a change? Hopefully we won't just wait until we concede.

Anyway on the plus side it's 0-0.

Mourinho needs to find a style that uses what we got, Aguero is'nt a big man.

I'm probably alone in not being unpleased by that first half. I'd have taken a 0-0 at the half time break all day long.

I'd take one of Moura/Son off and push dele up with Ndom on. Don't think we need 3 of Berg, Son, Moura offering the same thing up top (which is little)

2 mins and 8 sec between tackle and whistle getting blown for pen. what would have happened if we scored?
