Fair play, fought to get back into it. Could have won it but got also got away with one when Fernandes his the bar and it could have gone to 3-1.

Indeed. However, my big fear is we'll still end up playing in the dreaded Conference League next season, having missed out on the Europa League. Personally, I'd happily lose games just to ensure we don't, if it comes down to it..

Draw at Liverpool? We showed fight tonight. Amazing that a change of psychology can help in such a short time.
Im not looking at Europe; but just a decent run-in finish to the season.
With all due respect, I think you're seriously jumping the gun.

United haven't won a game to a top half side away all season. Liverpool at Anfield, especially with them finding form out of nowhere and getting key players back from injury is an entirely different proposition.

Couldn't disagree more, Dier was horrific and missed a sitter to top it off. Peh is a fraud, hides in the middle, some of his passing is terrible as well. Richy tried but very poor again and Son was miserable apart from the goal. Yes we battled well at times but got it to 2-2 then sat back again, what good was a draw.
Biggest disappointment of the night is the lack of obv noise on tv re protests against levy and co.
However, dier fulfilled his role of defending very well? Several times he snuffed out Manx chances. Feel a positive outcome all in all tonight

Maybe I'm just ingrained it in but if we kept pushing we would have been picked off. Still got the Bournemouth game in my mind and so will the players
I doubt we would have been picked off. Unlike Bournemouth, Utd was punch-drunk for the last 20/30 minutes of that match

Game of two halves.
Better energy, but still a weak press for a lot of the game.

Our attacking options are great really but defensively I think we are as good as our weakest link and Dier is just shocking. Too slow, backs off all the time and gets turned way too easily. We need a commanding presence at the back.
It will take more than a game and few days training to develop a cohesive press again. I actually thought it was a step in the right direction.

Agree defensively though. Big improvements needed in the transfer market

2 quality centre backs and a quality keeper under a progressive coach and a back 3 would work nicely. Romero playing centrally in a back 3 needs to happen. He has great passing but isn't the quickest to release the ball

thats incorrect he brought on tanganga for son, and we sat back for a point, hardly trying to win it

He noticed at the point when we got the first goal back that we could go for it, he still used Danjuma, and he put him on for the RWB. So you had Kane, Son, Kulu, and Danjuma on at the same time. He tried to win the game. He brought Tanganga on for the last period when United were just starting to wrestle a bit of control back.

If that’s Conte or Stellini at 2-1, Danjuma probably gets told to sit down and we get Sanchez AND Tanganga, and hope Kane and Son find the second. Mason actually pushed for it.

I don’t care what anyone says. Having psycho romero prowling the pitch must be fucking terrifying for the opposition.

I think if we're going to play a back 3, you need Romero as the central psychopath pressing forward hunting everyone in sight and then two solid, reliable no-nonsense types either side.

Of course I am. I’m hopeful. Given the shit show we’ve endured on field since late last year, I wish to cling to the positives. And I feel tonight we played well; especially given we were 0-2 down

I thought that was a positive fight back . Don’t get the we should have pushed for a win . If they had conceded last minute (again) that would have been terrible . The champions league is a pipe dream . Focus on qualifying for Europa here . A point here is a great result from 0-2

Far from perfect, but if you’re not fairly happy with that considering how we’ve looked recently then frankly your expectations were too high. Well done Ryan, something to build on over the next few weeks.

You keep giving rashford chances he will score
Utd wasn't giving the ball to Rashford for the last 20 minutes but rather hoofing it in the vague direction of Weghorst. Without Eriksen, they weren't able to do anything good going forward.
