If there is any silver lining in any of our abysmal form, it is the fact that we're this bad so late in the season, and not earlier in the season, or else we could be in a worse situation than we are now. As I actually type that though, I'm thinking if Kane does leave then there should be big concerns for next season - luckily I'm a half glass empty type, so I'm hoping my pessimistic outlook is misguided

The problem is you look to the bench and you see Tanganga and Sanchez and you know that won't help anything.

We have our 3 best centre backs on the pitch and our 2 best (fit) wing backs. We also have our only 2 midfielders available on the pitch (bar Sarr).

That is the problem, we have been decimated by injuries.

Lloris out of the team is a start, now we need to take our Dier.

We are still shit though whichever way you flip it.
Tanganga can defend though, I’ve seen it with my own eyes. I’d put on Davies as well and take off the two wingbacks. We need do or die defending or we get another routing. If you insist on three attackers in the side you need defenders that can defend in the team.

People talk about our mid being overrun, but we have only skipp coming looking for the ball, meanwhile point Pierre hides or if he does get it he hits it straight back or sideways and makes it damn clear he doesn't want it back, if he is a viking them I am the rock.

This is a team going through the motions with players who just aren’t good enough. This is worse than under Sherwood. I’m not sure I’ve seen such a lack of drive, determination and passion in a team. Massive job for the next man in.

But we did have Bentaleb. Oh wait!

I don’t understand why we don’t give teams the 3 points and save everyone the 90mins of pain. We can try again next season.

But Rashford has been doing that all season to every CB.

He's been on fire.
Just heard the armchair pundits say Dier should have gone in for the tackle. Had he done that and missed Rashford would have had a clear run as non of our players were even close. At least he pushed him onto his weaker side.

Levy chants I’ve heard so far

we want Enic out say we want Enic out.

We really need to sign some pace. We must be the slowest team in the league. Most of them look like they’re carrying wardrobes around the pitch.
Not just pace.

Players who are light on their feet.

Like Bentancur. He's not rapid but he moves so effortlessly.

Hojbjerg is a clogger.
Perisic is old.
None of our CBs are quick to recover (Romero can move though)
Kane has never been super agile but makes up for it with the way he uses his body.
Skipp is quite rigid but can spin.

We need some athleticism and agility

Hardly a toxic atmosphere is it
We're nothing compared to the Man Utd fanbase and how they express their concerns. You would hear it in Old Trafford if they were in our situation.

We as a fanbase should be fucking ashamed of ourselves

Maybe, but honestly that was like when you used to play 2v2 with your mates over the park on the full size pitch when you were 10. If Dier was tight then a ball over the top does him, if he gives him space then Rashford is just going to run him. Where was the right side of our defense? Why was he left 1v1?
Because we were all round their box and we gave it away and let them play a Hollywood ball to Rashford all in the time we should have been taking a corner.

OK we need three or better four goals. Son and Richarlison just need a bit of luck and Harry to get into the game

Dier made it as easy for rashford as it could have been, backed off as usual, he has no clue.

Even though my brain was telling me not to expect anything from this team for the rest of the season, my heart is Spurs and I really thought that we would have responded better following the weekend.
