Richarlison is so obviously not the answer at centre forward. Once again can’t get into the game and offering so little threat.

Think he’s better wide left.
He is acceptable on the wing, just lacks the cf instinct. No movement and no presence. Should be the absolute priority for anyone watching this team.

Neville isn’t wrong about our full backs. It’s a big problem today.
Both of them coming being inverted is a problem too. CBs have the ball little options on the ball and neither of the wingers are coming deep enough.

Soloman for Richarlison and Son up top is how I would go. Emerson for Porro who is a lot better coming infield. Playing too deep this half but look dangerous on the breaks. Kulu just lacking end product which is crazy considering all the assists he got early on.

Richi needs to be a pain in their arse winding them up, being a **** basically right now he's ineffective
He spends too much time diving and complaining. He needs to wind the oppo up, get them booked and be a real annoyance. Either way, I'd try son through the middle at this stage and stick Solomon or Ivan out wide

Not that bad considering its our second game with Ange in charge.

Do think our front three are quite underwhelming atm. Doesn't look like Son and Kulu excel at anything and Richy is invisible. I like the man but he really needs to step up. Everything he touches atm sadly turns to shit.

I'm no psychologist but from everything I read when we signed him, he seems incredibly emotional off the pitch. I can't help but think that a couple of goals would do wonders for his confidence on the pitch and could kick-start him to performing like the £60 mil striker we signed.
Needs a good chance. Keeps looking for a back post cross but neither son or Kulu are playing that ball for him. Think Perisic or Solomon would be better with him playing up front.

Richarlison needs to rush at the keeper like a homicidal maniac - the guy is so dodgy. On a more serious not we need Bissouma and Maddison on the ball more and sorry, but Porro will eventually cost us despite his value going forward

Biggest problem today isn't on the pitch, it's the bench.

It's the worst part about Postecoglou so far. I absolutely hate that we have zero strikers on the bench. It was a problem last week and a problem today. For me, there is no excuse not to at least have Dane Scarlett on the bench; just any alternative for Richarlison, who has never looked up to the level.

Pape Sarr - He's not ready yet, but there is definitely a seriously good player in there. Look forward to his development.

Am I being out of line in saying this is a very pleasant surprise in terms of the last 25 mintues
Not at all. Bruno probably should’ve scored and Porro hit the post. Call it even there.
Can’t get up for a beer or a bite with this defense back there. Makes for some tense viewing.

Cm is functioning really well. BIssouma is such an impressive player.

Front 3 stil not quite clicked yet have they? It's going to take a little patience for it to start working well. It'll come though, just needs a few more.games. I think they already look better than Vs Brentford.

Not really getting our passing patterns going today. I’d say ManU are edging it as had more time in our final third than we in theirs. Let’s see what AP can do at half time to tilt the balance in our favor.

First 20, our passing was far too sloppy. We were our own worst enemy as we just kept returning the ball to Untied and have them the chance to control the game. We didn’t play to our strengths either, Bissouma and Maddison not involved.

Second 25, was much better, we began to do exactly what we need to do, and kept looking to return the ball to Bissouma and Maddison’s feet and allow them a bit of time to get their heads up, and that’s where we’re dangerous.

Maddison is class, and you can see him directing everyone out there as well, I actually view him more of a captain than Son but I’m not trying to knock Sonny, just different types of people.

Feel like our front three is just still far too disconnected in terms of what they’re being asked to do, and the types of players they are, Maddison has the capability to get them in behind but in the most part it’s been Kulu who, is a good player but doesn’t have great pace, so usually he’s coming back in. Having to receive a ball, beat a man and whip a cross in doesn’t suit Son either.

I’d be tempted to introduce Solomon, he will run at people and he’s happy to take them on, up against Wan-Bissaka on a yellow as well, maybe this is the half to try Sonny central, Solomon wide left or even right and see if we can craft something a little more.

Even game overall, honestly I think any problems we had first half were mostly through just some lax passing on our behalf.

Sarr’s been great.

Im surprised Ange decided to stick with the same front 3 when it was obvious they were not doing well last game. And today has just proved that the last game wasnt just a one-off poor performance from them.

Time for ange to be brave and make changes early. Solomon and Perisic to come on please, for any 2 of the front 3.

Sonny isn't a winger. Richy isn't really a striker. Deki is always going to be shown the outside and has no pace. When he cuts in, he's no Bale. With a more suitable front 3, we could be winning quite handily, regardless of the full back situation. We desperately need a tricky winger, for when we are able to isolate their full backs. In this system I'd much rather play Perisic and Solomon, than Sonny and Deki.

Might be harsh but I think Richy could have scored from that rebound of the post, if he had better reactions

Porro with a few cheap giveaways but in general he was great defensively, particularly as he was exposed so often.
