Yeah the roads are fucked now. The system was obviously designed by a ped, or worse a cyclist.
It's mainly been the interminable development-related building works that have snarled the roads around Tottenham Hale. Let's see how the new system works once every damned street hasn't got a one-way light and a lane taken over by building contractors.

There are a lot of areas in London that were formerly huge one-way systems and that are now being turned back to two-way traffic. The motivation isn't just to improve life for pedestrians and cyclists at the expense of motorists. It's also to improve life for local residents, so they have normal streets to live on, as opposed to aspiring motorways. The original model is Shoreditch, which has been a success in encouraging street life into a previously unwelcoming neighbourhood. Other recent examples include Tottenham Court Rd/Gower St and Baker St/Gloucester Place.

Lo Celso starting is the key to this game. We will desperately need someone to carry the ball up the pitch and relieve pressure from City's pressing. I think it would be a mistake to start Skipp and PEH together, but let's see what Nuno does. I also think expectations of Lucas, Bergwijn and Dele should be tempered a bit. They will comprise 75% of our front four today, but combined they had only 4 league goals last season. A lot of onus will be Son to generate goal scoring opportunities without Kane, and Lo Celso playing gives us another player capable of picking a pass.

Ultimately, it wouldn't be surprising if City had 70%+ possession and a lot of half chances. We just need to hold out until the second half, when superior fitness, plus a few brave substitutions (Gil) could give Spurs a chance to get something. One thing the team cannot do is concede early.

Taking away the roundabout, and replacing it with that abomination by the shopping centre, was a complete cluster fuck imo.
Don't even get me started on Highbury corner. The person who signed off on that mess should be publicly flogged.

Hoping for the best but expecting the worse.
Just have to try our best with the tools at our disposal until the window closes / new signings start.

I genuinely can't work out who I'm most disappointed in out of Lo Celso and Ndombele. Ndombele is disappointing because he clearly is hugely talented and if he worked hard he would probably go onto to be one of the best. It's the hope that kills you with him.

Lo Celso is disappointing because again we've been had over buying an Argentinian midfielder who is supposed to be attacking and flair based but really just runs around a bit doing very little of note. If someone asked me "What is Lo Celso good at?" i would really struggle to answer. It's made worse by the impact of losing Eriksen and seeing the perfect replacement at Utd tearing it up.

For me we need to sell both, get as much back as we can and try and find a genuine Eriksen replacement.

See this I don't get.....because when we were linked people on here went crazy about what a talent we getting...same happened with Ndombele BTW....I now know longer bother getting excited and wait until the player has had at least half a season to judge their abilities. Back to GLC though I'm hoping this is the season that we see the best of him.

Mate, happy for you.
Can't say I'm not jealous as I haven't even been able to get to the new ground yet and I used to get to whl once a month, many years ago.
Have a pint and a pie for me and I hope it's the start of something beautiful for you and the club. ?

Could Kane not being in any of the matchday preamble be something to do with image rights? Levy might be punishing Kane by excluding him so he doesn’t get any royalties?
