I still feel the dippers would not believe how lucky they were to be given the 1st minute penalty. I believed they did prepare very well for us and not getting too complacent but then suddenly less than a minute in came such a low hanging fruit. They just went daze after that.

That could well be a advantage for us if we were more brave and less back passes.. Sighz...

Don't think the heat and the three week break helped the tempo of the game. Felt flat and slow, like a pre-season game. Just me?

I think the team did incredibly well to get into the final, there's no denying that, but I was expecting them to have the same kind of fight in them that they've shown over the last few CL games and it didn't really materialise. I think that's what I find most disappointing about tonight's performance.

There was a shout for a handball in their area towards the end, before their second goal. Never rewieved, not even the cameras showed it. Not saying it was a handball, but it gives a sour taste, especially given the soft pen they got. Agenda? Hope not, but seems odd.
No agenda we just are not good enough

I’m not going to second-guess Poch to the point of calling him shit, but I personally never thought it was a good idea to start Kane. Moura and Son up top, with Kane as a super sub option was always my thought.

I’m as pissed off as any other Spurs fan regarding what happened today, but I’m still as proud as anything that we got to the final in the Champions League!

I'm despondent, but not heart-broken. These things happen.

What I will say is that this club is going places. The journey continues. If we had won tonight, would that be it? Close the shutters and pack everything away? Of course not. And the same is true tonight after the loss. We go again.

Be proud of your club. By hook and by crook we got to the final. That says something about us. I don't care if no-one remembers who lost. WE will remember. And when the day comes when we lift that trophy, when we watch our club's name being engraved on it, we'll remember this day too.

And we'll smile.

I can't help but feel the experience of a champions league final can only help us. We just have to be bold in the transfer window and get some deals done early. Its the only way to move forward from this. Otherwise we will start to feel this is the best we can do and players will think about leaving.

Seeing the fucking bindippers of all teams celebrating after playing that shit in a final is devastating. What might have been eh? We need some investment this season so if this happens again, no regrets. COYS.

Everyone out there tonight looked effing knackered. Running and puffing in 30 degree heat, running on fumes.

Holidays all round, I think.

I think that the 30 degree heat, on top of a long hard season and last summers WC, took it’s toll on both teams and resulted in a very poor match.

Its just very frustrating. We just cant seem to win anything. This is our "great side" and we have nothing to show for it. When the goons and chavs had great sides, they won leagues and chavs even won the champions league. The goons even went all season without losing.

The only thing we are going to have in our trophy cabinet is a bloody DVD of Moura scoring a last minute winner in what is effectively a pontless game (i may feel differently when i am over this).

Why the fuck did we have to play 2 english sides in our CL run, that is so shit. When are we going to get some luck that actually matters. I fucking hate slovakia, what a shit penalty decision.
