Embarrassing from Klopp.

I don't remember there being such an outrage when Sheffield United weren't given a legitimate goal against Aston Villa a few years ago because the goal line system didn't work.

Fuuuuucking hell... are Sky Sports seriously ringing Tottenham up asking for a response to Klopp's comments about a replay? Never mind declining to comment, they probably pissed themselves laughing...

probably thought it was just some prick on a wind up. they weren't far wrong tbh.

Because Sheff Utd and their fans aren't pathetic little cry babies and the media also couldn't give a shit about them enough to keep pushing it.

Spurs should have just said no (obviously in a nice, corporate manner). Levy will get fans on his back again very sharpish if he was to agree to a replay. I could see a lot fans redirecting there disgust towards spurs. It will be a massive own goal. It could cost us a champions league place and will end up costing the club more in the long run.

I’ve tried my best to stay away from the VAR fallout from Saturday and there it is, Klopp coming out with the replay card. If we could add the Champions League final to that and it ends up being winner take all perhaps we have second thoughts.

I was nearly duped into thinking Jurgen Klopp took that well post match and spoke with a surprisingly calm tone. Yes I would’ve been angry like many other Spurs fans if that happened to us but we all know there’s a long list from our recent history where we’ve had to just get on with it.

The way this has been manically spun is just adding to victim mentality rhetoric Liverpool always use and I fear that some numpties in the crowd will start to attack referees. Seeing comments from Carragher saying nothing else should be compared to this incident adds to the self entitlement and Neville is basically trolling now but has a point with the way Liverpool as a club has handled the fall out. For me akin to a spoilt bully not getting their way.

Exactly this, using the argument well this didn’t happen before so unique there should be a replay. It’s just so exhausting.

Sky Sports need banning from our pressers if they're going to do this kind of PPV shite.

Can’t work out what’s more embarrassing

1) The T-shirts
2) crying for a replay

What makes this different to other bad offside calls is the fact that VAR got it wrong. It is a new level of incompetence as opposed to a split-second call from the sideline.

However it's still ultimately human error deciding a football match. If there was a replay I'd be fucking done.

PGMOL has apologised for refereeing and VAR errors multiple times in last few years. Any and every one of them would have exactly as much of a call to natural justice as this error.

it's beyond time for journalists to stop being cowards and call Klopp out for his bullshit

Yes, but you’re forgetting that Liverpool are ALWAYS more hard done too than anyone else.

I can just see this fucking outcry ending up in the PL ordering a replay just to put an end to the controversy. Tottenham refuse to play it and they give the points to the bindippers by default. I wouldn't be surprised at all if that happens if the PL don't come out now and say there won't be a replay under any circumstances.

Edit: posted when I was feeling particularly down and a bit depressed. I'm glad the PL have stated there's not a chance of it happening

Spurs shouldn’t comment, simply because we’re above the need to.

Liverpools issue, amongst many is with VAR and PGMOL. Nothing to do with us.

Their crusade for sporting integrity will end next time a decision goes in their favour.

Say nothing, all focus on Luton and moving forwards.

Sometimes you have to let a baby have its tantrum.
