On my way back from the game, good performance overall and Huddersfield really are turd. Got a bit sloppy midway through the second half, a few players switched off, but glad we got the two late goals.

Standout performances I'd say we're KWP, foyth, sissoko and of course Moura. nice to see wanyama play well too.

Don’t get carried away. I’ve seen Miss Daisy get around quicker

I don’t like writing players off but unless he can play against Huddersfield every week he’s miles off the player he was before his injury

He's clearly got a long way to go, I was purely talking in relation to the goal. Not often you see someone gambling and surging through off the ball taking a chance the ball will come his way, and especially not from a central midfielder. It was a fine bit of play.

There's a difference between fitness to play and match fitness. It'll take him a while to regain the latter so give the bloke a chance!

On another point I'm not sure about this Kane thing, when he was injured earlier we got a result against Dortmund but appart from that we only had Chelsea which could be considered a big ten and we lost that. Most of that period we did not play well at all, but we got results, often by last minute goals. When Kane came back we had pretty hard run and I think we just run out of steam. Our form didn't really drop, we were playing badly for quite some time, it's just we stopped being able to grind out the reaults.

We played better against Man city the other night when Kane was on, though we did end up scoring and since the new stadium opening I think our play has generally improved a lot.

All in all we can cope without Kane, and I'm sure we will. But I'm not convinced at all by the arguement that we play better without him.

Not sure what more you'd expect from him in the circumstances. He broke stuff up, kept the passing simple, got around the pitch and popped up with a goal. You've got to give him a bit of credit and a chance to get back in the groove FFS.

I’m sure someone can tell us exactly how long Big Vic has been 'fit' and/or on the bench but it feels like quite a while now and I’ve seen very little improvement except for the great goal today v what is basically a lower mid table championship side atm

Nice routine win, Huddersfield weren't even there until Moussa went off. Really liked Lucas having a boot about with his bairn on the pitch after the game, and the park lane cheering him.

I think you are being a little too harsh on Vic - I saw a bit of confidence about him today, which was good to see, even against Huddersfield.

He may never get back to his best times with us - but we will need him during the run-in, and we need him to prove he has value to some other team this summer...

Great result, big 3pts. And other than a sloppy 20 mins in the second half, it was a very professional performance.

Very happy for Lucas, 3 great finishes. But even more so for Wanyama, after the nightmare couple of seasons he's had.

Hopefully no injuries, and some rest for others, before the huge night on Wednesday......COYS!!!!

Very happy to see KWP given a chance as this is exactly kinda game he should be blooded.

Hope Wanyama can get back to levels he was as was truly outstanding, but there is a long way to go.
