What an open and honest interview, spontaneous stuff that answered so many questions.

Normally I'd miss that stuff.

Ironic these match threads. Every time these last few matches when there's an heated debate wether Eriksen has been shite or not - He comes up with a goal or assist.
I think its because he tries things all the time and obviously sometimes they dont come off but when they do its brilliant.
If he didnt try it wouldnt happen.

As for Eriksen - his quality does go a bit unnoticed sometimes. I've come to the conclusion he overthinks the delivery and striking of the ball, which is why he has lost form on corners and freekicks.

When he hasn't the luxury to think, he makes passes others can only dream of.

He should just come off set pieces and remove that negative from his game for a while!
He never gets a rest as he's the only one we've got who can do what he does. Need him to avoid injury at all costs:cautious:

It’s great to have an early big win. Now we can relax for the rest of the weekend and root for the opposing sides of our other TOP four contenders.

One small observation I thought our holding players could have done better in front of our defense, got a little queasy for 15mins there at 2 nil.
It started when Sissoko went off. He’d been winning the ball back relentlessly and then he was gone, replaced by Skipp, who tried a more positional, less aggressive form of holding play.

I know he has to put the best face on the result, but Siewart saying the score didn't reflect their quality is a bit much.

I saw another stat recently that he was one of only four or five players to get ten or more assists a season for four consecutive seasons.

Wow... Huddersfield manager is totally fucking deluded.

They had one or two dangerous moments, we had over 20 ffs.

He wasnt awful but he also wasnt outstanding by any stretch. Did well going forward but he lost his man a lot.
Cant recall him putting a foot wrong other that the yellow card challenge. Sprayed some fantastic passes made good runs and great tackles...

Loved Wanyama's goal by the way. Proper old-fashioned driving run forward from midfield to pick up the loose ball, and finished it in wonderfully nonchalant fashion.

Don’t get carried away. I’ve seen Miss Daisy get around quicker

I don’t like writing players off but unless he can play against Huddersfield every week he’s miles off the player he was before his injury

Literally strolled it, never got put of first gear. Huddersfield were really bad, and I reckon without changes they might struggle again in the championship. There top goalscorers have 3 goals this season and they have only beaten wolves this entire season (did the double!) They have been seriously bad this season particularly post Wagner. For this reason I don't think you can really judge much from the game.

Great result! Still feel it was a bit of a gamble with that lineup, shows how much I know I guess.
