I agree fully with you that as fans we should expect more from Lucas. As I think is a description on every player on the pitch these last games. But that alone, that singular argument is not enough to all of the sudden start somebody who is a worse fit and has less experience. Lucas is finally getting a run in the team, and I believe that is fully warranted. HE won't get any better from now returning to the bench just because he doesn't play like a world star. This amazing Spurs Community love for a) new signings who b) don't play is very irrational. There is no reason yet to announce that Lo Celso is our saviour.GLC is exactly the sort of player who is comfortable with the ball. I don't understand why you're so against him ever playing. Moura hasn't been setting the world on fire.
I don't get it. Most teams would love to have a creative midfielder with the talent that GLC has. Yet we leave him on the bench game after game in favour of a midfield with zero creativity. At home to a team like Burnley too. We will start with no tempo. Dier and sissoko will be happy to complete square passes and will invite Burnley into the game. Also what's happened to foyth?
Ndombele seems very injury prone, he always seems to be hobbling in most games
Jose has his favorites like Poch had hisThought after Lucas being so poor at Man Utd that GLC would start for sure
At least bench is good. Maybe we get good Moura this time around.
Well Aurier is about due for a red card so Rose coming on is a significant possibilitiyIs Jose is anything like poch you will see eriksen and maybe rose come on and none of the others are getting above 10 minutes. Calling it now
I'm fine with Lucas getting a chance. I'd just like to see GLC getting a chance too. He's very talented and he's what we are missing in midfield. I'm not saying he's our saviour, but he literally cannot be any worse than Sissoko or Winks in that position. Five mins at the end of games is pathetic. He was bossing games against the best teams in La Liga. He's not some unknown punt.I agree fully with you that as fans we should expect more from Lucas. Yep it’s just his favorites are often not mine...hope Lucas can have a blinder today and prove me wrongJose has his favorites like Poch had his
