In Mourinho’s pre match interview yesterday he said we had 2 days rest and 1 days training to prep for this game. Let’s just hope we were suffering from fatigue against Utd and the rest has done our players the world of good. If not we’ll be up against a brick wall with little to no idea on how to unlock it, especially with Dier and Sissoko as our CM pairing.

Hard to get too excited by that midfield but hopefully Dier can play himself into some form as we badly need a DM for the bigger games. Would love to see Tanganga given a go in defence but pipe dream...

I’ve got to say I’m deeply disappointed with our CM. It’s just so so bad. Dier and Sissoko is such a poor midfield from a technical point of view.

this is going to be an ugly game. Glad I decided to swerve today and stay at home.

We badly need some fit quality CMs brought in. Dier winks and Sissoko just not good enough.

Decent team. The front four should be good enough to create chances and I think it shows he wants the two defensive ((relaative anyway) midfielders in there. Hopefully we start to look a bit tighter at the back now. COYS

Like it or not maybe the players being regularly picked are the best we have?

this would be a good point is we weren’t drifting in mid table with our marquee summer signings barely getting a minute

To be fair to Jose he did explain why he had to play Sissoko in centre midfield midweek and having Winks and Ndombele injured is hardly giving him much option today either. I personally would have played him tucked in on the right and Lo Celso or Eriksen as an 8 instead of Moura but I respect the decision. At least we have a defensive minded midfielder alongside Siss so it might not be too bad. It will be all about that front 4 getting the job done today. COYS!

You have to assume that GLC just doesn't look as good as the players who keep getting picked over him. Which bodes well for when eriksen leaves huh.

Ndombele has had plenty of chances and has done well in small patches but to be not fit enough to last 90 minutes is simply not good enough and questions should be asked about his attitude imo
