Passing awful, movement slow, as bad as we’ve played in quite a while, that said should be a 2nd half v 10

Royal actually made some good runs into space early on, no one passing his way though.

Wing-backs offering us absolutely nothing, and I think we can manage with one of Son, Kane and Deki having an off-day, but certainly not all 3.

Second Half FC to the rescue?

So unbalanced with Emerson in the team. Potter has set Brighton up perfectly here, overloading midfield and our attacking left. He is so poor technically and nobody in the team trusts him to receive the ball under pressure.

Worse first touch than Sissoko.

Everything Brighton do is quick with intensity while we're so sluggish and tame.

They're going man-for-man - we're taking 3 or 4 touches to make a pass, allowing Brighton to close down the player on the ball and every possible passing option.

I'd get both our wingbacks off.

No point moaning about Mwepu when Kulu should have been sent off too.

Could easily be 10 v 10

Slow and disjointed, I expected we go all guns blazing 2nd half attacking into the shaded area will see lots of running from Son, Kane and Kula

Glad that half is over, we’ll improve for sure.

Need a lot more from Bentancur and Hojbjerg, both have been ultra passive/safe.

Pawson once again demonstrating what an appalling referee he is.

Hopefully Kulu has a game like Villa where he started quiet and really grew into it.
He seems out of sorts and has been booked. Might be sensible to bring Moura on for him second half. He had a cracking second half last week so who knows.

Has to be the worst performed ref of the year so far, the muppet has no control of the game at all. Hack and slash from Brighton and nothing done about it.

Suppose we were due a dire 45. Hopefully similar second halves v Newcastle and Villa.

Mwepu should be off no doubt. Kulu booking was correct as Cucurella holds his face yet was brushed in the chest.

Conte will get a rocket up them in that dressing room.

No doubt Mwepu gets taken off now - Pawson absolutely bottled that.

That being said, we've been pretty poor but not behind which at least gives us hope to come good in the 2nd half

Lucas and Bergwjin for Kulu and Emerson to change it up. Bergwjin RWB. Kulu trying his best to get sent off today.

They have set up perfectly to stifle us, need to get some willing runners in behind, might be a game Lucas/Stevie to come in for Kulusevski some unorchestrated chaos might help unlock them.
