I don’t care how “anti-football” lower placed teams are; the fact is that we have the ability to do much, much better.
Whether in our movement, decision-making, more accurate crossing, or driving past their players, we simply aren’t doing enough.

I’m a bit mystified by the instruction to Son and Moura to hug the touchline like traditional wingers. I’m sure the intention is to stretch the Brighton defence and leave space for Eriksen and Dele to make runs, but the effect is to keep our best goalscorers away from the penalty box.

Brighton have done a lot of very stalwart defending, but they have also benefited a number of times from fortuitous runs of the ball, in attack and in defence.

Unfortunately, guys & gals, when can you last remember Poch making changes at half time? Think we've gotta wait a bit for changes.

I guess it's time for him to get the players to show those balls he was so proud of last Wednesday evening.

We need someone to have a bit of balls and run at them, there are free kicks in them as we've seen already.

Moura did it a little early on, he's faded out of it again.
I am constantly amazed at how infrequently footballers fail to run at players on yellows and try to draw fouls.

No one is even attempting to make any run to draw defenders with them. It is so stationary. I just dont get why the players always play like this against bus parkers. How can they not see it...

The noise in the south stand is really something when there’s a collective cry of “sit down”

Massive 45 minutes. No point in waiting for ten minutes to go to show urgency.

Show it now.

We’re not the only ones shitting ourselves though.

I bet there are Arsenal, Chelsea & United fans out there watching the game and shitting themselves thinking that there’s still 45mins left for us to get the goal/s

I hate games like this.

Can’t remember who but there was a game in the last couple of months where we looked clueless in the 1st half only to come out and score early in the 2nd and winning comfortably. We need to show the same urgency here otherwise it’s going to be another frustrating half.

Too slow, too ponderous... it’s often how we end up playing against this kind of opposition, for some reason I can’t explain. I’m happy to move it from side to side and to probe, but it only really works well if you move the ball with a bit more urgency. Still believe we’ll get something soon enough.

Move the ball quicker would be a good starting point

The ball has barely been out of our half. When are we supposed to move it faster?

I do agree we should be trying to move it to Llorente's feet faster and bring him into the game but he's surrounded by 5 blokes half the time.
