Not seen all the game but can someone answer the following.

Was it a handball to rule out Sanchez's goal?
How was the pull back on son not looked at and a penalty given?
Was the handball shout for a penalty for us genuine?

To me it seems like the officials didn't have a good game and we should have been out of sight!

Also if the stamp on Alli was on purpose then that should have been a red?
They got all the decisions correct.

It was a hand ball from Sanchez, Sissoko shot pinballed about and off his left arm/hand.

I think they looked at the son pull back, but son went down very easily.

Hand ball by them, nowhere the guy could have his hand.

Didn't see the stamp replay

What game did you watch? Kane was everywhere today. Might not have scored but his link play and effort cant be questioned. He was tracking back their attackers when we lost the ball high up, usually the first to press their player in possession in our own half numerous times throughout.
This isn’t so much about today, just in general. He seems much slower and less mobile. Maybe it’s just me.

two things to say

1 I was there when Mousa Sissoko scored a proper footballl goal

2 Gazza went full Ben Foster in the second half with his time wasting :)

I'd suggest he's run more in the last 3 games than he has for the rest of the season combined!

Must be Pretty sad for Poch seeing this Harry tearing around like the old days, when for Poch he could barely muster a jog (but more importantly he spent 2 hours standing around his house ;) )

1) Yes, rightly so under the rules.

2) Not enough in it for mine but you've seen them given.

3) No. Pen would have been very harsh for that - although I was screaming for it.

Lerma didn't "stamp" but definitely "stood" on Dele's foot deliberately. Bloke's a prick.

I found Dier’s general positioning odd today. He didn’t seem to be playing his usual role in front of the 2 centre-halves.
He was often (at least) 10 yards advanced which left a hole on a number of occasions.

I’m assuming it was tactical otherwise I’m sure José would’ve jumped on him in the first half but I just thought it was strange. It left us exposed at times and I don’t think it plays to his strengths.

Other than that, you can see some changes already; less passing in our own half being the main one.
We just need to roll out the old line ‘play like it’s 0-0’ when we’re ahead!!
And I’ll be disappointed if we don’t score at least 2 on Wednesday night.

The rules are slightly different for attacking and defensive handballs.

If the ball touches the arm of an attacking player at all, regardless of intent, it is considered a handball.

For a defensive player the rules are a lot more hazy and open to interpretation but as far as I can tell generally in line with the traditional handball rules of seasons gone. At the start of the season VAR was going mad and giving pens all over the shop, so they seem to have stopped giving them unless it's quite obvious. Not really consistent or fair, but preferable to the circus that was the first month or so.

I thought Tanguy was very good today. More to come as his fitness improves

I think that's very generous. He had patches of the game, particularly just before HT, when he strolled about in his nonchalant way and was involved in some good passages of play ad looked classy, but for the most part it was quite the bag of bollocks I thought. Fucking about and losing the ball unnecessarily on too many occasions, and without the ball wasn't very effective.

We can all see he has quality, but nowhere close to putting it all together yet.

Whilst it wasn't a handball by the Bournemouth guy I'd have booked him for that fucking play acting of holding his stomach. (n)

And he was at fault for their first goal. Conceded possession with an extremely sloppy pass then committed an unnecessary foul trying to redeem himself.
Tried a few ‘scoop’ in the air passes too which got nowhere near his intended target. Jose didn’t seem too impressed with them either....

Really want to see us becoming more clinical. Bugs me to see the players over hit an easy pass and screw up what looks to be a certain goal. We could've been 5-0 up if we just focused on making the right decisions on the several counter-attacks we had.

Imagine same team and formation but with either a Fabinho or Fernandinho. It clearly should be our priority this January but I have no idea who is gettable. West Ham would never sell us Rice and I can’t really think of a player abroad who would suit

I’m sure he’ll be drilling that into them, it’s all about having the right mentality. If you take your chances at 3-0 like it’s still 0-0, it takes away the possibility of a nervy finish which no one wants.

We hear a lot about the Jose winning mentality so I’m sure it won’t be long before the players automatically think the same way
