It's a pretty messy and scrappy game so far in my opinion, both teams guilty of that. Lot of fans will like that, some of us don't...
When the game is like this, wide open and just going end to end, then you'd always bet that as the team with superior quality we'd get the job done but Bournemouth have had two or three half decent openings they barbecued and will keep us on our toes if it remains 1-0.
Our cm2 is unsurprisingly really short on form, rhythm, intensity and fitness.

I can see why you'd say that but it's not entirely accurate.
The strategy seems to be to get it into the feet of the front line to turn the defence but the first pass after that is to the attacking midfield to play through to the runners. The aim is that the midfielder in receipt of the ball should have 3 or 4 players in front of him making runs on goal.
The first pass bypasses the midfield but then they drop it back in.
But Of course the goal came from a direct through ball.

Why are the rules in this instance "shit"? Seems clear and understandable to me - which is a darn sight better some rules. Sanchez got an unfair attacking advantage and the bournemouth defender wasn't "making himself bigger" with his hands so...

Weve practically been playing with 10 men. Dier has done absolutely nothing defensively and offensively. He doesnt shield the defence, he doesnt make incisive runs, and he doesnt make himself available for the ball in midfield.
Might as well play with 10 men.

Doesn't do a great job as a six of presenting himself to either the back line or deep wide men either.

The positive is that we know Mourinho will look to shore up our Defence. It remains to be seen if Dier is the man for the holding role but right now he is the best option. With Jan and Toby back on board we should get much more solid but Mourinho will need time. On the other hand he has freed up our attacking players and we look like scoring for fun
