I like the idea that if we get enough players suspended we can just postpone games indefinitely - we'll never have enough players to play, thus they can never serve their ban, thus we will never play again?
Loan the team out for 24 hours

I think it’s disgusting that they’ve been allowed to do this and am sure that had the boot been on the other foot we’d have been denied. However, I think it’s a blessing in disguise. We’re not in a good place at the moment and I wouldn’t fancy us to win against even a weakened arsenal side. But with Romero, Dier and Son back, plus hopefully a couple of new signings, we’ll have a good chance. I fancy our full team, on form, at home, over theirs.

You'd be surprised how many gooners are our there on social media defending the club.

Be relieved you got the game called off, but don't act like it's right.

Yes I saw some kid from NYC traveled to London for the first time to see spurs and arsenal fans trolling him in the comments. I know others had flights due in today for the match from other countries, that's probably the worst part of it. They're classless and I know most of our supporters wouldn't act like that, which is why I'm glad I support this club and not them, makes me so angry.

The PL has no respect for the only reason they're around today, the fans and supporters. They wait almost less than 24 hours to screw over people like this? Their flights and lodging won't be reimbursed and I know it's always a risk in a covid world, but it stings more when a game isn't called off due to a covid outbreak.

Premier League always been a joke. They make it up as they go along.

Remember when Blackpool, under Holloway, rotated their side and got fined for fielding a "weakened" team.

I think it’s disgusting that they’ve been allowed to do this and am sure that had the boot been on the other foot we’d have been denied. However, I think it’s a blessing in disguise. Under the lights too.

Let's just hope we have new signings and key players fit.

Bet Arsenal fans are loving Xhaka right now. If it’s true they only have 12 available, then he is responsible for the postponement.

We never heard anything after the Palace shambles so I won’t be surprised if we don’t hear anything from the PL about this either. I really hope they’re forced to come out and explain why they’ve given this decision.

Arsenal fans are saying blame the rules not the club. And it’s a fair point but a) I have no doubt that Arsenal haven’t been honest with the PL re their situation and b) it does give me a bit of pleasure knowing that Arsenal have actually genuinely bottled it.

It’s a pretty disgusting situation when fans have been looking forward to this for ages and it can be called off the day before because of one case of covid.

He’s verified on here because the mods know for a fact he has solid connections, doesn’t mean those connections always get it right. If you take things any ITK says as gospel your an absolute moron, because it’s real life. Things change.

Hercules bookended his ITK with disclaimers. Nothing wrong with him sharing info and it isn't his fault if something changes.

Whilst I’m not at all surprised that Arsenal have been allowed to get away with this, I’m absolutely against the idea of ‘drawing a line in the sand’.
we need to be allowed to see games called off throughout the remainder of the season based on international call ups, injuries and suspensions to maintain the “consistency” we are seeing.

If there was a fair decision, it would be a 0-3 forfeit. You can’t use u23 players in the CC and FA cup if you won’t class them as eligible in the PL

Once again.

George Bannister, Gards any of it. It isn't wanted on here, they do what they do, let them crack on but they've got nothing to say or add that isn't about to be in the news, they do NOT have any sources other than the media and they are not ITK, just aggregators.

Now you can choose to disbelieve that, and that's fine, follow them, don't, I couldn't care less but it is NOT for in here, anywhere. Thanks.

Strange one to pick up considering that guy was on twitter saying the Palace game was off.

Personally I appreciate anyone who shares info and understand things can change.

These vendettas seem so weird.
So there’s a spy in the house?! Twitter is a right cesspit from what I’ve seen second hand.

The PL decision does seem ridiculous and definitely hands them an advantage for Wednesday IMHO.

From a glass half full perspective we hopefully should be in a better position with returnees and potential new signings. Karma should suggest we kick their arse! ?

Weren't several clubs not allowed to postpone their games with more covid cases? What a joke of a decision

It's a total joke - I've felt pretty ambivalent about them for many seasons due to their distinct averageness but I'll enjoy it if we beat them in the rearranged match.

Think what has become apparent recently is that the real reason managers wanted transparency and a set threshold for calling games off was purely so they knew how to exploit those rules.

I’m still utterly disgusted at the whole episode. I hope we fucking destroy them when we do get to play them.
