He does seem like a good kid but it's not half sad that he's so pesimistic at that age Makes me feel quite lucky to have been able to watch Gazza, Klinsmann, Ginola, Sheringham etc growing up.

Good point well made. THFC, aspiring to make a cynic of youth…… You are right. There aren't any players that would reach idol status for them like the above. But hey, I had to grin and bear the Spurs of the 90's. Didn;t do me any harm

Those fans that were interviewed seemed like they'd had the last remaing ounce of passion wrung out of them and they're just waiting for the inevitable!!
