I've watched Zaza quite a few times including the recentish game against AC Milan and i thought during that game i wonder if spurs would go in for him as he looked a handful. Quite nice to see he actually might join us now. He scored an awesome goal against Milan as well from a corner , absolutely smashed a shot in with his left foot on the volley i think it was.

These are the type of signings I love. I know little about Zaza but that means no expectation on his shoulders and for a reasonable fee, he could flourish. I would take these ambitious but calculated transfers over £30M signings every day of the week.

Personally if we are looking at Sassuolo i would prefer us to try for Berardi, yes he is technically Juventus property and at only 20 would probably be a tricky transfer to get done but i think it would be very much worth the effort as he looks a real prospect that could easily become an Italian superstar in a few years.

When was the last time we signed an Italian player? I reckon it was Tramezzani, Berti and that was over 15 years ago. I just can't see us signing any Italians. Most of the rumours originate from Italian sources but never come up to fruition. Granted rumours have increased since Baldini came but he hasnt signed one thus far.

How many Italians in the Premiership too? Santon, Giaccherini, Borini, Balotelli and Pelle. Only the latter being a success and he had apated to Holland already. I will ignore all links to Italian players unless it comes from a good source.

I like Beradi too but he'll likely cost £20m plus. Imagine a front 3 of Beradi, Kane and Zaza, with Eriksen or Lamela behind them

Thanks for reminding me about Carlo but he was known the Premiership. My point still stands. I just don't think any of the Italians such as Giovinco, Beradi, Zaza, Destro are on our radar. It's just rumours from unreputable Italian sources and isn't worth talking about unless confirmed from an ITK or a reputable journalist over here.
