Obviously the club leaked that tickets would go up so they could look like heroes when they fix the prices for another year. Please don’t anyone fall for the nonsense. First time I can remember not having to renew until season has finished though.

Will individual match prices also freeze as a result? Concerned they may freeze ST prices but then increase prices for individual matches

It's an expensive day out with our current footballing situation isn't worth it so I've been going less myself

It's hilarious to me that people actually believe this.

Clubs run entire models to determine pricing, it's an incredible amount of work. They wouldn't completely scrap that based on some twitter chatter and an article from a journo that's not clued in.

Scousers caved when they were rumoured to be putting prices up a few years back…

I spend a lot of time looking at margins in my job and whilst its not a football club the principles should be the same ie there is no way any company in their right mind wouldve planned to keep prices the same given how much inflation there is on costs.

If Levy is supposed to be the astute businessman we make out he is, he would not have willingly planned for a price freeze. I also dont think the club comes off as any kind of hero, rather its a sign of concern about renewals (along with the later than last year deadlines).

Is it still possible to pause your season ticket for a season. I just don't fancy going for spurs games for awhile.

My spurs loving energy has been sucked away 😔

I listed mine up straight after the result Monday for Brighton this weekend and some silly bugger has brought it
Strangely the club has just closed Ticket Exchange for ST holders looking to buy guest seats for Brighton and Bournemouth. It had been open for 2-3 weeks but was only allowed to buy 1 extra and I had hoped to get a couple for my parents who have yet to see the new stadium. Judging by the 1000+ still being offered up for exchange last time I looked on Tuesday, it seems strange that they continue to restrict access rather than open it up more so that A) There are more people in the ground/spending money on match day and B) ST holders who can't/wont go at least get reimbursed.

I’m not one for questioning post ratings, in fact it’s the first time I have from memory, but not sure why I got so many disagrees when Doug’s said pretty much the same thing the page before and got loads of agrees.

Either way, I’m glad I have some time to digest the season before I inevitably, begrudgingly renew for the 22nd year 😂

So, here I am, aged 61, been going WHL since 1966, but never had a season ticket. Partly because I've been a shift worker, days & nights, since 1986 and couldn't justify an ST, originally due cost & availability, but later due simply so limited on how many games I could make.
I've been offered an ST now for past 3 seasons as I'm close to the top of the waiting list. Will happen again in a few weeks I'm sure.
However, I'm now not working shifts and am off every weekend.
I can afford an ST no problem now.
What will I do?
I have no desire to hand over money to the current mob running things. But I know if I don't, something will turn round and I will regret it. I still wouldn't go every game, but would certainly go more.
So torn........bet I'm not alone in this either.

If you don’t buy it some other mug will. Get one and you can always stick it on the exchange if you can’t make the match.

I cannot stand the chairman, but I’ve had a season ticket for 31 years now and going to matches is a family affair for me. I’m not surrendering it now as it’ll make zero difference. I just won’t buy anything in the stadium, or through official club channels.

Have a look at what's on offer , if it is a decent seat not up in the gods somewhere you could think about purchasing and then putting on TE for games you want to miss, some seats have a better chance of selling than others.
Plus there is the carrot of a new manager coming in and hopefully if Paratici gets off with his ban some new signings could be on the way.

Sure many of the serving staff in the stadium need their jobs to pay their bills , doubt a lot are paid much above minimum wage but they wouldn't be there if they didn't need the money.

Eh? If you’re trying to make fans feel guilty for those people potentially losing their jobs due to match going supporters boycotting buying food and beverages in the stadium then that’s the biggest fucking stretch I’ve ever seen on here (and that’s going some)

Boycotting food/drink or merchandise to try and get at Levy is nonsense, he is not leaving just because a few sausage rolls have not sold.
