1. We do need another creative player, so in that respect I am keen.

2. But he plays from the left. Do we need another player who is best off that wing. Son, Bergwijn are already best off the left although obviously stevie can play off the right. (edit: and sessegnon)

A double deal of Benrahma and Watkins would transform our bench. Would have to mean Lamela is leaving though. They’d cost close to £50m though combined which I’m struggling to see us shelling out.

Looks absolute quality, when watching the watkins highlights it was Benrahma that was buttering my potato

That's what I'm saying, we need creativity but certainly not from the wide-left position. If anything I'd be enquiring about Mbeumo. Younger, cheaper and a bit more raw, but can literally play anywhere across the front 3.

Can’t see us spending £40m on benrahma and Watkins, will be one or the other imo

I only watch brentford in the game against barnsley last season so I don't really have much to base it on but all three looked lively. As always it is a massive step up with speed and physicality key. Does Benrahma have the acceleration required to be an attacker in the PL because in the youtube clip it is hard to tell if he does have that pace to get away from defenders in tight space. People are comparing him to Mahrez, but he is deceptively quick.

Seems as though we are competing with Aston Villa for both signings (Watkins and Benrahma)... I mean, if we can't beat that lot in the transfer market, I despair.

Surely we're close to shifting 2-3 players if we're targeting both plus a CB

As others have said, I’d rather a LB and ST before we buy him and I’m not sure he’s an upgrade on what we already have, even for the bench.

He also failed to turn up when the pressure was on last season, Brentford were massively Spursy when it mattered.

I guess it depends on how the deal was structured. If you're dealing with one club who would accept annual payments then it might be just as feasible as buying a couple of £15M players, but needing pay all the money up front.

Maybe levy likes the local market.... Brentford players 20m each or two for 30m...pretty sure football doesn't work like that though.

I know they're kinda meaningless but this guy honestly has one of the most impressive highlights I've ever seen. Serious creative chops, hold up play, can play both on the outside and inside, has goals in him. If Coco is indeed on his way out, I guess we could do worse.
