Leicester would be looking for 60M+ and have no reason to sell. This ship sailed years ago.

Shocking scouting from the club on this one.

We went for Aurier over this guy as simple as that. That's fucking madness.

totally. Now he’s worth a fortune and is highly unlikely to leave a upwardly mobile team in second.

terrible from the club. As I’ve said elsewhere, Poch failed badly in the transfer market

I think we're a club that has hits and misses. It's extremely hard to keep getting hits but others clubs are doing it. Liverpool for a start. We Have to do better. No excuses.

I got the impression that Porto were bumping the price all the time when we were interested and Levy walked away as a result. Seems like the deal with Leicester was much easier. By contrast, PSG wanted Aurier out and we were desperate for a RB.

If I could pick any RB now it would be him.

Leicester would only sell for obscene money, just can't see it.

But by God would he improve us.

I don’t think they were doing Leicester a favour. Have to ask ourselves why it was easier with them? I think we can come up with an answer.

This will never happen, we missed our chance and went for Aurier

The replacing and dealing with selling Walker sums up the transfer mess at the club. We seemed more bothered about getting a top fee for Walker than finding an adequate replacement. None of us thought Trippier up to it for a start. Loads of people wanted Pereira who’d seen him play and thought him a great replacement, nobody was that keen on Aurier because of his off field nonsense. All very frustrating, when you factor in the sancho scenario too!

Pushing for Champions League and a _possible_top 2. Not seeing him leaving for us if Leicester ends up with a top finish and we might end up with EL

WTF didn't we buy him when we sold Walker? The player recruitment at this club is an embarrasment. Pereira, Maddison, Tielemans and look where Leicester are now....
