Oh my beating heart, Spurs are going to be the death of me.

Very lethargic performance by us in my opinion, but in the end cannot complain about getting 3 points and keeping a clean sheet.

Hojbjerg MOM, no question.

But I’d like to take this opportunity to say that I love Harry Kane.

Dier and Alderweireld were solid all game.

Quite a lacklustre performance and another where we moved the ball too slowly and lacked any verve. The chance Son missed first half summed it up, he took 3 touches and let them smother him. I do not mind seeing Sissoko alongside Hojbjerg in big games when he needs to control space and pick up dangerous runs from world class players, but against the likes of Burnley, Brighton and West Brom we need to start either Lo Celso or Ndombele alongside Hojbjerg and be better with the ball. Playing with Sissoko is like playing with 10 men when in possession.

For MOM I voted Høbjerg as he looked like our leader, won a lot of the ball, aerially and on the deck, and generally played decently.

Overall, a clean sheet and an away win, and sitting top of the premier league. We will play better.

Reggie for me but a few others pushed him close

Reggie is lining up a 30 yard top corner, like Ekotto v Everton

It bugs me when people say we didn’t deserve to win games like the last 3. We did. It wasn’t a good performance, but we were more dangerous and scored a good goal. Whether it’s in the 10th or 88th minutes it counts the same.

While I’m ranting, it also bugs me when people brand the entire team with the same brush, so poor performance = everyone was meh. The defence was good all round, we’ve conceded one goal in 3 games, and that was utter bollocks.

Dier MOTM. He’s been secretly pretty good at CB since the end of lockdown. If he cuts out the occasional brain freeze he can be a top CB in my opinion

Hojbjerg for me. He is the engine of this team.

Harry once again grabs the headlines

Special shout to to Doherty for the assist, been a tough start for him but glad to see him get the assist today.

Sergio superb energy down the left flank

Dier and Toby very solid today

Holjbjerg again? ffs

Lloris - 7,5 - dealt well with the little he honestly had to do
Doherty - 6,5 - not convinced but thanks for the assist in the end
Alderweireld - 7 - solid again
Dier - 8 - my MOTM, massive clearance in the first half and pretty faultless
Reguilon - 7 - had better games for us, tried but not so much worked out. still ok
Sissoko - 5 - when he is on the ball, the attack stops as he is so busy to not give the ball away and manage a solid sidepass. Thought we instantly looked more fluid when he went off.
Ndombele - 6 - had a hard time again, did some good, did some bad things
Son - 4,5 - probably worst player on the pitch today. Nothing worked really out
Bale - 5,5 - starting to get slighthly disappointed by him. He looks too much of a passenger most of the time. Hope he will improve.
Kane - 7 - worked hard again, offensive not much worked out but he got the winner and thats all that matter

GLC, Lucas and Vini all helped to put more pressure on WBA that finally cracked them without doing sth outstanding.
