@Eric_s I’m the first person to score each of the starting 11 but you’ve disagreed with my entire post because of, what, one player rating?

In a thread designed for entirely subjective opinions, how often are you going to agree with all 11 ratings?

Discussion of where you feel differently would be welcome.

Edit: also seeing dislikes for another user stating their opinion of a player’s performance (which wasn’t offensive). Very sad.

Keeper and back four all terrific, VDV very solid and great on ball, Porro and Udogie doing such a good job.

Midfield dominant again, Maddison outstanding, Bissouma bossing it and Sarr had some top moments. PEH and GIo did good jobs coming on.

Front three still not clicking Kulu improved after a poor first half, Richy self destructed after a battling first half and Son was ok. Again looked better balanced with Perisic and his combos with Udogie a real weapon.

Two clean sheets, two wins, Ange knows what he’s doing hopefully Levy supports him with a new striker and CB.

Maddison, but so many other excellent performances as well. Vic, Bissouma, UDogie, Porro and VDV standouts. UDogie is going to terrify defences.

Richy is a worry. His head is starting to drop and he's trying to do too much to impress. He looks absolutely desperate to score. I hope we show some faith with him. He has impossible shoes to fill.

How good does it feel to have a player with the initials VDV tearing it up. Loved Rafa, now Micky's taken on the baton a decade later and is showing so much promise.

I still voted Maddison for MOTM today though.

Lots of good performances- keeper and back 4 👏👏👏 but it has to be Maddison.

Special mention for Hojberg and Skippy who stepped in and calmy did exactly what was required.

Romero for me.

Tough in the tackle, superb on the ball.

That backheel while under pressure directly to a spurs shirt in space was pornographic.

Shout-out to Porro who has become essential to us playing it out of the back

Agree. The hipsters will go Madders 😏 but I’ve been so impressed with him in the 2.5 games he’s played.

I agree with this. In a long post with so many differing statements, how do you know which ones the neg poster has disagreed with.

A comment to explain why you disagree is much more suited to a forum. It’s also the mature thing to do.

I don’t like Mexicans.

Back and forth discussion covering several points is definitely the more mature way to go about this kind of subject and also helps us to know more about that poster.

Women are purely baby making machines.

Finally, I’d like to thank everyone on here who contributes to the great discussions we have on a regular basis. Fuck cancer.

I have to say, my erection was at full gallop today.

What an improvement we are seeing already. The fluidity, unity, fight and hunger all there - sizzling along for everyone to witness.

The Bissouma - Sarr midfield. So much tenacity and guile. Talent oozing off of both men, with Pape particularly impressive with his willingness to get into the box. Something we haven't seen since Foden had no pubes. Can't wait to see how they develop.

Maddison is uber class. Not much else needs to be said. He might be the best midfielder of his style now KDB is out. I don't care. Call me a hyperbolic, throbbing fan boy. I am.

The back 5 are so good. I mean, handsome beyond belief. But also dripping with a specific skillset that is a joy to watch. I love how we keep the ball. Don't panic, let the other team come and we pass through them. What a wonderful idea, right?

Richy needs a goal, we all know that. But he tries. So we shall see. I wouldn't be sad seeing a new attacker come in. Not too keen on the neck tatt.

Vicario -7.7
Porro - 7.6
Romero - 8
VDV - 8.1
Udogie - 8.2
Sarr - 7.8
Bissouma - 7.9
Maddison 8.7
Son - 7.5
Richy - 6.9
Kulu - 7.6

Pierre - 7.5
Ivan -7
Ben - 7
Skipp - 7
Gio - 7

Have to agree here I think he really stood up today.

I get the impression that he's relishing being the leader in the backline this season.

I see the match the same as the general view here. Still waiting to see Soloman..maybe he isn't training well, because yes Kulu(6) did well to get to the position to score but, the goal hasn't affected my issues re his performances.
Overall a very good performance, we're still getting used to the change from having an overrun midfield to having several outstanding midfielders plus excellent backups....and having a world class striker to now, none.

I feel its a risk to gamble a season on Richy(6) coming good. Sonny(6) and Kulu are going to find it hard to make an impression vs the best teams . Hope there's news on incomings/outgoings..surely baldy isn't just gonna pop the Kane money in his back pocket ?
