Good in buildup and could have had two or three assists; I’d have to watch the goals again but while he could have done better I didn’t think either was egregious and required very good finishes.

If he’s a yard tighter neither goal happens

It feels like so many in the match thread hate Skipp, just because they hate Skipp.
He had a decent game today and is settling in more with every game he plays. He certainly doesn't lack effort and is actually almost better in the ball than people give him credit for.

That being said, MotM for me was split between Richy, Bents and Udogie.
Thought all three of them had really strong games.
Skippy was solid..great pass to Werner who should have scored

Unfortunately when I saw skipp and PEH as out midfielders I knew we would t win. They just don’t fit the system. They both didn’t do bad. But don’t do want we want. But we would normally take a draw away at manure. Just a shame our dominance didn’t convert to goals. Johnson should have been giving WBS an absolute torrid time as he wa on a yellow for 60 minutes. But just kept passing it away.

not sure how porro can be called solid after giving 2 goals away
That’s a bit harsh. He wasn’t getting any support from Johnson. Also the first goal Romero would have blocked the shot if he hadn’t been so concerned about having his arms behind his back.

I've not been skipps biggest fan truth be told.

He works bloody hard, always though.

Last two games, he has been absolutely superb though, fair play to the lad.

Usogie, Bents and Richie outstanding today, thought timo showed good drove and directness which was missing from the other side.

Overall, good team performance, feels like 2 points dropped though!

It does, doesn't it.
Kind of a sign of how far we've come that a draw at OT is considered a bit disappointing (either that or how far Utd have fallen).
I was worried about the midfield today, I don't mind Skipp or Hojbjerg but seeing them both together gives me the shits.
To be fair to them both though, they did pretty well and we were unlucky not to get the win.

Got to think that Johnson should be an impact sub, rather than a starter though. He's still got a fair bit to learn but at the moment, he's probably been thrust in too early.

Positive from Werner, will be better once he’s settled and improved fitness.
Johnson disappointing again, poor delivery and doesn’t see the simple pass (or willing to attempt) to players running through from midfield.
Two points dropped, as we were by far the better side, but could have lost it in the final minutes.
Not sure how it's two points dropped away at OT, having come from behind twice.
They are still a very dangerous team.
It's not a game we have a great record in and despite their flaws Utd haven't lost fire ages when leading at half-time

Richarlison, Bentancur, Romero, Porro, Udogie all fantastic. Will give it to Lolo, but honestly Richy was equally as good.

When is Solomon coming back? I think he was more effective than Johnson has been.
Don't have the exact quotes but Maddison and Solomon are next in line to come back from their injuries.

Should be available in one of our next two games as long as he avoids any setbacks.

I went for team performance. I could have given MoM to anyone across the back four (for different reasons). Even my fears about a combined Skipp/PEH tandem proved to be wide of the mark.

If anyone had a slighlty sub-par performance, I'd go for Johnson.

I didn't count Werner because it was his debut and he is still obviously feeling his way.

Considering the number of injuries, Players on international duty and those returning from injury for their first game it's a good result but really feel we could have won today. Just needed a bit more quality.

The spirit the side showed was outstanding. MoM for me was Porro. Always positive, was tireless with several quality balls into the box

Shout out also to our two returning Centre backs, Udogie, Bentacur, Skipp and Richarlison. Also thought Gil was neat and positive with the ball when he came on.

Negatives for me were our attackers when they had a chance of a shot it never really threatened the goal

Wasnt MOTM, but special mention for Hoj today - I thought he did really well.

Not the ideal choice in there but he does seem to be making a concerted effort to be more progressive in his passing and it showed today. Doesnt seem to have a long term future here but is clearly taking on Ange's instructions and still putting in big shifts when called upon which is all any supporter can ask.

Not sure it’s harsh…it’s basic positioning and defending. Don’t get me wrong am a fan of porro. But these goals don’t have if he is tighter to rashford. Both times we have 3 vs 2, so have the cover

It’s mental, back four that hasn’t played together for weeks, a midfield that hasn’t played together before along with a front three.
We’re walking out of there knowing we should have picked up three points, absolutely gutting, we played them off the park.
Team effort from me however BJ really needs to start performing, I saw more out of a half fit Werner today than anything BJ has produced all season.

Richy and Romero candidates for my MOTM

Vicario couldn’t do much about the goals but liked the way he dominated his area and distribution.

Porro had the hardest job on the pitch with Rashford sitting in advanced positions, could have done better with first goal but his play and energy were quality. Romero just so good in possession and great to have him and VDV back. VDV couple of nervy moments but solid return. Udogie just dominated Ganacho it was man against boy. The work rates of Udogie and Porro is just outstanding.

PEH and Skipp both put in good performances and PEH but for being a little loose a few times would have been a candidate for MOTM. Bentancur was solid and took his goal well, linked play well.

Werner on debut I thought was good, intelligent runs, recycled possession well and nabbed a smart assist, his shooting was a bit off. Richarlison tireless closing down and getting back to help, held the ball up well and took his chance well. Johnson not at his best looking hesitant and when given space did little with it.

Ange cobbled together a team and they did a good job for him. I’ve convinced myself Richy for MOTM.
