I think we give Gazzaniga too little credit. He has stepped up quite well I must admit. When you don’t complain about the keeper, shows he is a safe pair of hands.
I mean this is literally one game after probably the worst piece of goalkeeping I've seen in my life.

He did well today, but let's keep things in perspective.

The only way to go after Chelsea was up. If you could get worse than that, i’d be floored

At best, he’s been half way decent. He’s had quite a few howlers, and his weakness stopping low shots is very clear to see. We could do worse with a #2 keeper but we could also do alot better

Name me a couple of 2nd keepers that are better in the league.

Romero is better. I don't want to hog the glory, so I'll let someone else have a go for the second.

Harry looked close to his very best and should have had a couple more, LoCelso showing that he can add value to the team and Dele worked hard and scored a blinder.

Sort that midfield pairing out and we would make huge strides towards the top four.

Kane was superb and looked shattered by the end but he was like the Kane of old again, taking on players with some bursting runs.
Moura can be frustrating but to be fair to him, his determination and running in the second half really helped drag us into the game.
Winks needs to be braver and as his lovely little ball for the offside goal showed, he's got the ability so I don't know why he doesn't look forward more.
Really liked Lo Celso and that Argentinian grit. Some lovely runs and passes, along with great determination. He's a little fighter and while still needs to get used to the pace of the English game (getting closed down so quickly a couple of times), he has hopefully shown Jose that given game time, he's a real player.
Sanchez looked good again and as has been said many times before, give him games and he gets better.
Sess was ok. Tried to get involved and had a couple of early chances, brought about by some nice runs. Didn't do much with the ball though and kept cutting back into traffic.
Eriksen was good, playing some lovely balls and looked a little less powderpuff today.
Sissoko had a spell in the second half, where he looked immense.

First half was very poor but second half was much improved, although some of the passing left a lot to be desired!

Oh go on then. Game of two halves. Good job they can't finish.
Gazza...........6.........Still playing despite Chelsea. Howler free. Did everything expected which wasn't a lot.
Aura.............6+.......Called for the ball in good position, First time assist. Didn't notice him otherwise which is how l like him.
Toby..............7-.........Looking old and stressed more than before he signed anew contract. It'll pass.
Sanchez......7...........Benefiting from more games. More composed. Wish he'd take the ball on himself instead of passing it to his dad.
Verts.............7..........Didn't try too much and succeeded.
Sess.............7..........Looks like a good 'un. Good movement and skill.
Sissoko........6...........One or two forages up field. Can't pass or shoot but hey he fills a need.
Winks...........6...........Lovely pass to Harry for the disallowed goal. He should try it more often.
Mourier.......6...........Causes havoc often unintentionally. His loss of control led the the equaliser.
HK.................8............My MOM. 2 goals , popped up at right back at one point, leads by example
Dele.............7.............What to say. World class winner, worked hard but basically peripheral. Love him

Lo Celso......7+........Might just be the coming man especially if Eriksen leaves.
Eriksen.........Another enterprising cameo to show us what we will miss. Love him too.
Dier...............Trundled on trundled about. Typical Jose late defensive sub. Looks well hard he frightens me anyway.

You're welcome.

How Sanchez Vertonghen Alderweireld got the same mark is baffling.
Sanchez by far kept us together at the back the Belgium pair are pretty poor now imo not once did they bring the ball out from the back ( they are suppose to be ball playing CB’s) forever going side to side then long...it’s embarrassing they leave far to much defending on Sanchez head.

Toby got 7-.
Difficult marking because of the differences. between performances in each half.
I commended Sanchez for his composure and admonished Verts for his lack of ambition
and said that Toby looked stressed/ old.

Don't disagree much with your comment but on Sanchez that's why they brought in
a new young virile centre back to take the strain and he is shaping up.
make it Sanchez 7+ and we're good to go

I can't give anyone above a 6. Until that equaliser, we were poor. No effort.

Moura and Winks might have been wasteful but they at least tried and made themselves available. Sometimes when the team is playing shit you have to stop criticising not good enough and identifying those at least trying to play.

It was Moura trying that led to Kane's goal (he had an insane 10 mins where he just kept pressing, winning tackles and kept moving the ball forward), it was Winks constantly trying to get on the ball and move it around, and it was GLC doing the same and getting involved that actually got everyone performing. For about 5 minutes we had 3 players actually trying to make things happen (GLC and Winks kept passing to each other) and all of a sudden the others woke up.

It's a team game, but our team isn't playing like a team. It's only ever 2 or 3 players showing up and putting in the effort.

Our players are fcuking lazy at the moment. I used the below pic already in another thread but for me is symbolic of our problems. When we were smashing in goals at the beginning of Jose's reign we started running and moving. It was our movement off the ball and on the ball that made us so good but that stopped. For me 4 players that need to be starting are Winks, NDombele, GLC and Moura simply because we need players that will get other players involved and playing again.

We need 11 players showing up to play, not 2 or 3. Until they all play, we won't be back to the Spurs of 2 years ago.
