Im just hoping we get a europa league spot. We have a manager who wont bin it. A trophy is a trophy and its a big one with a big prize.

Totally. Expectation this season were pretty high imo to repeat last season achievement. We bummed that one hard so Europa League next season is doable. God I've missed those cold Thursday nights in mid November in Ukraine :D

We've won!!!

Our win against the Geordies has guaranteed up a top 10 finish.

We are on 55 pts, with Everton in 11th on 45 pts, so the max they can reach is 54.

Late equaliser from Burnley puts us 1 point behind Wolves with 2 games to go each. 5 points ahead of Arsenal and 1 ahead of Sheff Utd who each have a game in hand.

The end of the Burnley/Wolves match was insane. Worked out for us in the end, though. Wood misses an open goal header, minute later there’s a penalty given for handball and Wood puts it in the top corner. 1-1, 2 points gained on Wolves.

Technically we still have a chance of 4th lol. It's exceedingly unlikely though. We'd need a draw between United and Leicester, and for them both to lose their other games

Hopefully we get to the last game with a win guaranteeing our Europa spot with a unlikely but hopeful chance of 4th

And Sheffield to drop points against either Everton or Southampton and Wolves to drop points against either Palace or Chelsea. Would be an unbelievable miracle for that all to happen lmao

Good win tonight, but we really need to aim for 5th or 6th place to avoid qualifying rounds in Europa League (I assume Arsenal won't win FA Cup, so 6th place will automatically qualify for group stages). So that late penalty for Burnley against Wolves is good news.

edit: and yes, the "race for top 6" is going to be an exciting one!

Big match this weekend. Soyuncu is out, so it’ll be likely Evans and Bennett in central defense for them. Pereira is obviously still out. Definitely should have chances.

What qualifying round do we go in if we finish 7th (assuming it goes down to that spot)?

And how many qualifying rounds before the group stage?

For us to get 4th, we would need United to lose to Palace and West Ham.

That is not happening in a million years.

4th is gone, let's hope Leicester choke and we get 5th.
