If people were honest, there is probably still a little bit of a antipathy from the season that they won the title.
Not from me mate we was never in a title race as such we were off the pace from the start but tried to chase it down from about December/January.
It was a valiant effort but as often is the case fell short when it mattered and it was the same story the season after.

Going to be interesting to see what happens from here... If the other leagues are allowed to play on to a finish would have thought this will lead to a lot of legal problems for the FA.

Nah man, fuck Leicester. Worst fanbase in the league by a country mile. Confirmed it for me when they started flashing 'The Sun' logos at Liverpool fans without provocation. They're ****s and deserve nothing. I'd be more overjoyed that Leicester were fucked over than Liverpool if the season is voided.
They use clappers too :poop::poop::poop:

All grass roots seasons finished!

The fa have started the ball rolling
Yep they're setting expectations for the higher leagues but I think they know deep down they won't be able to finish, the FA aren't in control of this the government are.

Do you think they will cancel the premier League & championship? (Genuine Q by the way)

I just can't see it happening with all the legal cases it would cause and also deciding on who makes Europe next season, Leeds & WBA suing because they are missing out on promised land etc

If they think they'll have trouble starting next season there's no point in voiding this season.

If i try to look at this neutrally I would rather advocate that we finish the current season however long it takes to do so, and then start a shortened 20/21 season or skip it altogether depending on how long this season takes. Measures like that will be much fairer as all clubs will know the drill from the start and not create uncertainty like we have now.
Not a chance this could happen with clubs having to pay wages of players under contract for that long. Loads would pretty much go bust without TV revenue (CL and domestic), gate receipts, match day revenue and a likely merchandise hit.

I find it hilarious that they think we'll be up and running in June.

It's not happening.

I suspect come the end of April they'll void the season.
Sure, tighter lockdown will probably be lifted by then with more testing likely available but don't think there's much chance the social distancing advice will be ditched for at least a few months after that. It's not gonna happen without fucking up the next season.

They will have no choice unless they look to write off next season in order to just finish this season, this virus isn't going away anytime soon, most the world is on lockdown but yet the footballers get to go out and carry on, NOT A CHANCE it will get finished.

Yea I get the argument for the start of next season but whatever way they cope with that they are unlikely to be sued by clubs as any decision will be done on a majority basis. Their main issue for next season will be the TV companies who will want a full 38 game season but are unlikely to get it.
Any legal cases against the premier League by say Leeds or Wba would probably need to be finished before the next season starts which could delay that further.

Before this corona virus I ate and slept football with spurs at the forefront of everything . My position now is I have a wife four children six grandchildren many in laws plus nieces and nephews among them including myself four of us have quite bad asthma .
And some want to argue about finishing the season well I say " fuck the season and fuck football " At this moment in time my only concerns are my family and extended family and of course the rest of the country . When is it going to get across to people that at this moment in time football comes bottom of a very long list . Please take care and stay healthy and maybe even lucky. .
