If we can win our next 2 games and results in other games go our way we will be 5th. They can stop the season at that point then everyone's a winner

Would anyone’s opinion on here Change about starting the league again if Spurs were in a position to challenge for anything this year? I know top 4 is still a possibility but I’m not even sure if the CL will happen next year. I’m struggling to get excited about the restart mainly because I’m not sure how safe it is to do so but I think deep down it’s also because this season has been a bit of a car crash for us.
Wasn't that the original strategy?
It was the original plan prior to lockdown before the government realised that it would overwhelm the NHS. It does make more sense to look at things on a local level now though. That's the way forward imo.that’s always been the strategy. Lockdown was allow the NHS the ability to not get overwhelmed during the initial peak
we aren’t going to beat this without a vaccine and there may never be one.
we need to get on with life, it’s here to stay
Yep you're right, but I haven't missed Steve McManaman one bit.Watching the Dortmund game and to be honest you get used to the lack of crowd noise pretty quickly and just end up watching the game, it actually highlights how important commentary will be keeping there from being any lulls to dwell on

If you've made up your mind you'll hate it then that's up to you. Maybe I've spent too many Saturday afternoons watching lower/non-league matches where you can hear players shouting at each other already.
The pace of the game is normal, the quality is normal, the players seem as into it as they usually are. A couple of weeks of games and the vast majority of people wont even be talking about it.
In times of change i always turn to Whitney and as she said "It's not right, but it's ok".
Funnily enough I was just saying exactly this to a friend. Once you are used to how quiet it is it’s completely watchable.Watching the Dortmund game and to be honest you get used to the lack of crowd noise pretty quickly and just end up watching the game, it actually highlights how important commentary will be keeping there from being any lulls to dwell on. I do find it funny that some people think the league is returning just for Liverpool to win the league
The clubs, or the fans of those clubs? Because I promise you, whether you agree with it or not, Spurs as a club wholeheartedly want to restart.the clubs that think there is a benefit for them (Liverpool - title / Manchester United - thinking they can get 4th) want it to continue. The rest don’t. The players don’t.
Don't watch it then.A shame the bundesliga is back as that probably mean the PL will be back to.
Could do without watching our turgid side or Liverpool winning the league.
Training individually. Turning away from tackling. No handshakes. No mass celebrations. Whatever next?
If the prem starts again behind closed doors with no fans or atmosphere, won't that give the gooners an unfair advantage?
