I’ve genuinely not watched Villa once this season and been impressed. They’re an ugly side and seem to get preferential treatment from referees and VAR.
City game aside, I can't say i've seen a side close to being near the top of the league.

Also incredibly fortunate thus far with injuries.

Totally agree.

They're efficient and no more. Think theyll slide down to 6th/7th in second half of the season..

Us and Newcastle will finish above them imo

How is that Coufal challenge not reviewed? No where near the ball, and he's bloody concussed a player - there's no consistency at all.

That can't be. They are apparently a brilliantly run club with no end of very clever purchases but you say they are "shit" what's gone wrong ?
The excuses for them will flood in soon enough. Potter isn't there anymore, erm they've got injuries, err they're tired. Give me a sec and I'll think of some more.

They're still 9th in the league whilst missing a huge number of their players.

Probably bias on my part but it feels like every single cynical challenge we make is examined under the microscope.

If one of our players dare even breathe, you’ve got that rat faced tosser Neville going “ooooooo, [insert Spurs player, most likely Romero] you naughty boy.”

Utd have West Ham and Villa after Liverpool today.

I really think Ten Hag could be out of a job by January.

It's more that everyone seems obsessed with a studs up challenge - even if it doesn't actually connect, mistimed, accidental etc - but fully taking someone out by deliberately kicking them up in the air is fair game, as long as you do it with another part of your boot, even if it causes more harm/arguably more dangerous of a tackle

absolutely handbags in berntford vs villa. Maupay getting booked for a stupid nothing, then Martinez getting away with the same. Good call by the referee to show off Kamara.

Brentford robbed by ref & VAR.
Mee wasnt a red...probably given because Bissouma was shown a red yesterday for similar
And Maupay penalty wasnt even properly checked.

Brentford should have gone 2-0 up, instead lose 1-2.

Mee's tackle was far worse than Bissouma's. It was a red. Far more force and if the Villa players leg is grounded he's in big trouble
