Pound for Pound we deserve the 2nd spot in table.

It looks like if we keep injuries away from first XI, we are walking the way to CL qualfication end of season.

None of United, Newcastle, Chelsea been convincing. I expect Arse to draw or lose more once CL kicks in. So is the case for Brighton & Villa as well.

It's a long season. Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Starting well isn't a guarantee for future success as we've seen so many times before.

We might benefit from Arsenal playing their first CL game in about 8 years the Wednesday before the NLD, 4 days turnaround should still be ok but I can't see Arteta putting out a rotated team against PSV.

No, disagreed. Our pattern of play, performances is not a lie. If we keep our starting XI fit, 1 week a game, we should be more than fine.

The goal difference stat never lies. Us with +7 is 2nd at the moment. That to me, says performance & result wise we are in top4 comfortably as of now

So United this season:

Wolves - got comprehensively outplayed and were massively lucky to win. A stonewall penalty by Onana not given.

Spurs - comfortably beaten.

Nottm Forest - got outplayed yet again, got back into the game by getting a dodgy penalty (exactly the same as the one not given today).

Arsenal - comfortably beaten in the end.

They are incredibly lucky to have 6 points, and could/should have lost all 4 games. Questions will be asked of ETH soon enough. Injuries to key players happening more regularly and CL football starting soon. Could get messy there very quickly.

we are rightly worried about our CB depth, but Mant Utd have ended up with Jonny Evans and Maguire on the pitch there.

and that's before you even think about their horrific options at full back.

I see what you're saying and I love the positivity.

On the other hand, the table doesn't really take shape until about 10/12 games in, and even then, that's only 1/3ish of the season done.

he’s absolutely lost it in the post match. Calling for 5 or so penos, disagreeing with the offside. Feeling the pressure.
While conveniently ignoring that Lindelof kicked someone in the face, I presume.

Under pressure managers that go off on one are always hilarious

Is it me or was Saka completely anonymous in that game?

He has been for the last couple of games apparently according to my Gooner father in law. Scored a couple of goals but generally been quiet during the game.

They have been given a home game after every single one of their 6 champions league group games. Who said they’re the establishments club aye
