I like Brooks, not against it, but we need to see how he plays post injury. Grealish is clearly N1. Ake, meh, could do a job I guess.

It's a shame to see Bournemouth decline as they have to be honest. Have always respected the football they've played and their willingness to to bring in new players, even when having to take a risk and pay over the odds.

Still hate Lerma though.

I think Ake is underrated because of his height. He is fast and aggressive and a good in the air for someone under 6ft..everything Chris Perry wasn't ?

I mean that's not my problem with him. He is very good in the air and very aggressive, but I feel he isn't the most disciplined centre back. I wouldn't say no, but it's just 'meh' for me. BUt then again, I thought similar things about VvD and got proven wrong on that one! He counts as homegrown though, which is a big plus.

Never understood the links callum wilson was getting to the big clubs. Just don't think hes that good for the price that was getting mentioned. 50m plus to chelsea werent it. They got one of germanys best players for that price.

it makes perfect sense. He is homegrown and is a useful option, got a decent goal record.

Always why I've had huge question marks against Howe re. going to a bigger club/us. Bournemouth have always been piss easy for teams to play against and play through. Also the best PL work was done with the players he came up the leagues with in my opinion, that was their best unit and played with a bit of intensity. Now they might have a few individuals with a higher level of quality, but they're even more flimsy and it's often a bit tippy tappy go nowhere.

Yeh, he has done very well though, and might suit a bigger club, though I agree with the general assessment.

People seem to want Ake and Aarons from Norwich but they’re going down for a reason. Sure there are examples of good defenders who go down but they are few and far between.
