Incredible finish, Traore carving them open yet again. What a player he is.

If we don't make it wouldn't mind seeing wolves in the CL. Great side.

A good side to watch but given the money backing them we don't want them in the CL. Levy, the stadium and potentially no European football means we're going to struggle to outspend our rivals.

Even when we have been in the Champions League we haven't outspent our rivals.

Wolves are a considerably better side than us.
They are good team but Nuno has been with them over two years now and has been able to slowly build a team that functions very well.

Our squad and time with Jose should still be better. Our depth is much better. I'd also say our first 11 is - just needs time to establish it.

I doubt many teams will be spending that much in the next few years anyway.

Part of me wants to see Wolves, Sheffield and Leicester fill in the CL spots. Would make things interesting and probably protect our team a little bit.

I'm actually not that convinced about that. I think we have more top tier players, but in terms of depth and team quality Wolves are seriously underrated. They have much more depth than, say, Leicester.

We seriously overate our own players on this board just because we have paid decent money for them. They have a better defence then us. Their Goalkeeper is just as good. Their Midfield has balance and class. Jimenez is more of handful on a week in week out basis then Kane and in Adama they have a player that terrifies opposition players which we don't have. Also even players like Neto and Jota are cracking football players. If Lo Celso was in Wolves team instead of ours he would be ripping it up.

Lo Celso is ripping it up here as well I think.

Yeh, and past good performances also helps a lot. Like Toby and Verts are not the players they once were and people forget that. But they play to their strengths, put Jimenez in out team and he won't be all that, and Kane in theirs would be a dream. I've said it before, our offensive players are very good, but we play way too slowly and individually. We need to move the ball quicker. There defense is better, and probably their midfield too, but they are more than the sum of their parts, we are much less.

I don't think Wolves are significantly better than us. I just think the difference between Man utd, Wolves, Chelsea and us is not significant. Teams like Leicester and Sheffield utd I think are a bit behind but without european football they can match those teams.

For them to still be in the Europa League and be 6th in the PL while only using 15 or 16 regular players is nothing short of incredible. NES deserves mad props.

Palace are normally my second PL team, but considering that Palace could end up level on points with us, com'n bournemouth.

And how many trophies do we have to show for it? If Wolves make the CL they'll probably spend. If Newcastle's takeover goes ahead they will spend big. Top players are much more open to joining a club that pays well and/or can offer European football. Without it, we risk going backwards like Arsenal.
