Richarlison becoming a real flop of a signing. £60m, not a single domestic goal this season and always injured.
Massively premature to say he's a flop. He was playing well prior to his injury in October. He did have a few poor performances on the right, but that's his worst position and it was in a team without Kulusevski (so bereft of creativity). Then he played 80 minutes after doing his hamstring in the warmup of a World Cup quarterfinal and hasn't been back to full fitness since.

Once he's fully back from his World Cup injury and is playing on the left or up front, I think we'll see the best of him. He was a standout performer in Qatar and is a very good player. Way too early to say he's a failed signing.

Don’t like both sess and perisic playing, in the interests of conserving energy for the tail end of the season, but Conte knows better than me I guess

Smell an upset.

However, I'm excited to see Bissouma and Bentancur in the middle.

Hopefully Bissouma puts in a performance and that will be vital if we are to progress.

Thought we would go strong, disappointed in the lineup considering our next game is next Sunday.

Spurs game now, then gonna try and find the sporting Porto game somewhere to watch our new boy in action, followed by the Beterbiev Yarde fight. Not a bad wee night in front of the telly.

COYS!

I'm a little disappointed that Sarr isn't involved.

Is he going on loan or injured?

The highlights from when we last played PNE back when greaves was playing was perhaps more exciting than what we've been served up so far this year :shifty:

We got beat then too

May i ask a question.

Do you think there would be any sort of meltdown if Romero were to get injured playing against a side we should be handling with relative ease, especially when we have a squad that contains, dare i say, back up CBs.
I think there will be a bigger meltdown if we are knocked out against Preston with virtually no need to rotate and 8 days off after the game.

I'd get it if we were playing Weds, but it seems unnecessary. It feels like every cup game we've rotated the squad over the last 2/3 years has been a disaster, and though it should be fine, why risk it?

A nice bit of sense from Micah Richard’s suggesting we play 4231 and saying Conte played 4 at the back for a time at juventus a while back.
