now that we officially woin't be in europe next year, who do you think we will lose?
I don't want abuse for this, its a serious post, can we really hang on to the likes of modric?

Simply put, yes.

Can we hang on to unreliable lazy egotists like Jenas and Bentley?

I hope not.

We can hold onto our players. Modric has shown ability but he's hardly grabbed the headlines, I doubt the top teams will be queueing up to buy him.

Few of our players have really shown real quality this season so we can hold onto our players through lack of genuine interest from top teams rather than them wanting to leave imo.

Bent is gone and maybe Huddlestone. Modric and many other players will be going the season after next because we will not qualify for Europe for a long time.

IMO, none of our players should feel they're entitled to bigger things. maybe Modric, but like someone else pointed out, I doubt the bigger clubs will come calling this summer.

Think we'll be able to keep hold of everyone we want to keep hold of. It's more of a case of which players have done enough for Harry to really want them to stay. There may be a few players who will go that Harry just thinks that maybe it is better to move them on and take the money. I don't think Modric will be one of them.

Do people really think no UEFA Cup/ Europa league footy is enough to make players want to leave??? Get real, it's not the cl, most of them didn't even play in the knock-out stage. As long as we stay in the pl then we should be able to keep hold of all the players that we want to keep. I can only see Modric leaving if Juve or a cl club do come in for him as some papers reported. I can't see any of our current 1st team being targets for top 4 clubs. Maybe Corluka and Lennon but even that is unlikely.


I do think we need to give Pav one more season before writing him off, Bent should be sold imo. Although he had a decent game today.

i don't think many players will leave, probably bent but we got obiki so thats ok. the usual suspect fringe players like gilberto will be off and i imagine we'll get in 2/3 players too
