Was waiting for him to chirp up. Sounds like it’s up to Toby to be convinced to move there. Not a bad move for a few years. He’s a fit guy, could easily return to Europe in a couple of years time if he wants to keep on playing.

I imagine once you agree to go and see Qatar it will be very, very hard to say no as he’ll be treated like royalty and shown luxury in an amazing climate. 3 year deal on offer as well which is incredible for a 32 year old!

The point I think is that neither are good enough anymore and we take what we can. Can’t let Dier go first if we don’t get an offer.

Also Dier is 1 year into a new deal, you need bidders and I don't think anyone in this market will be offering the 20m plus that Spurs are looking for.

Also just want to say thanks to Toby, what a player he is/was and getting back what we paid for him after 6 great years is fantastic news all around!

Him and Jan formed an amazing partnership and two of my favorite players to watch in their prime.

Will be sad to see him go. The last of the best back 4 I’ve seen us have - Walker/Toby/Jan/Rose. Criminal he hasn’t won something with us, but then that goes for most players the last few years!

He is still our best defender although I agree its time. Him and Jan created partnership that we will look back to next 20 years. We were lucky to have them in their prime when they could have easily play for every team in the world. It will be so so hard to create something similar.
