SK leading 3-1 with minutes to go in the first game. Son has missed some sitters.
Taken some hits as well, kicked down from behind in the air giving him a hard landing, rammed in the head with an elbow/arm as well. Lee Kang-in the star of the show.

All games are on YouTube btw, possibly geo block for some (?).

would also add that he has been dispossessed way too many times due to being too loose and nonchalant on the ball. couple of misplaced passes too.

just had a bad dive and was booked for it. not a good game.

SK just beat Bahrain 3-1. Was a fairly comfortable game although SK looked shaky at times in defence. Son didn’t have a great game tbh, had one powered effort from inside the box saved, missed a one on one that was later flagged for offside then missed another near the end which he really should have scored after Kang-In played him through. Also got a card for a clear dive after he miss controlled the ball. Played the full 90.

On an a side not Lee Kang-In looked absolutely phenomenal. Scored 2 one of which was a gorgeous curled effort that just snuck inside the left post. He was starting on the right but as the game progressed was given licenses to drift across the pitch. He was a constant threat, just gliding past players and playing some beautiful passes. He certainly looks like the player that will take on Son’s mantle for SK over the next few years. The boy has bags of potential. I’m still bitter that we didn’t snag him. Just a shame he went to PSG where his talent will be waisted most likely. Already SK fans with PSG shirts in the crowd.

Sonny playing with a bandage support on his right thigh is that normal for him.
A few Spurs shirts in the crowd as well and the proportion of females in the Korean support seems massive.

It's shocking that Levy didn't see the positive in landing both Lee KI and Kim MJ.
It would have secured us as South Korea's favorite club for decades.

Played the whole game. Got a yellow for diving in the 93rd minute. S. Korea won 3-1 against Bahrain. They will easily progress from the group

After Japan surprise loss to Iraq today, its looking increasingly likely that South Korea face Japan in the round of 16 on 31st January.

Err...No. I want him back asap. Only a South Korean Spurs fan would want him to stay out there and risk injury.
Nothing wrong with being a fan of his wanting him to win it. Just like there's nothing wrong with anyone wanting Sarr or Bissouma to win AFCON.

I want him back safe and sound soonest. Don't care about SKFC atm.

If it was the WC I'd definitely go for SK. The fact this happens in our season is bollocks. Same as the African version.

I respect their tournaments but I'd rather our players playing for Spurs thanks.

Hope their teams get knocked out ASAP thanks.

Because our players only get injured on international duty and never when they train at Spurs or play for Spurs......

SK getting dumped out in the group stages with Son carrying the burden of letting down a nation and taking shine off his hero status isnt a sure fire better outcome for us.
