Where did i say Son should have been sent off?

Ah sorry, my confusion stemmed from the fact that you replied to a discussion on Son's responsibility/culpability and subsequent publishment and implied he was responsible.

If that wasn't you intention then you might as well have said if Levy hadn't signed Son then Gomes would still have 2 ankles. If Mrs Son and Mr Son hadn't got it on 28 years ago then Gomes would still have 2 ankles. None of it really pertinent to the discussion but all equally valid points.

I personally couldn’t give the slightest fuck about advertising the premier league, I just wanted a result, even if it meant playing awful!

I felt like we needed an ugly win away just to get the confidence back given our terrible away form and thought yesterday would be it. What id have given for that Leicester result to go our way.

I honestly hope we provide a strong case as to why this should be rescinded & not just accept any bs automated response from them

Son tried to do him. Other way round and we would be calling Gomes a ****
Speak for yourself mate, I'd like to think that as gutted as I would be, I'd still be reasonable enough to understand that accidents happen.

If it was such a terrible and reckless challenge, how come Seamus Coleman (who himself has suffered a nasty break) led a delegation of Gomes' teammates into our dressing room, to console Sonny and tell him that he wasn't to blame.

Fuck me! Everton players aren't blaming Son but some of our own fans are?!

Oh yeah, I agree. I wanted the points too, no matter the performance.
I was just stating that it was a fucking shite game of football to watch.

If Son doesn't make the tackle then Gomes still has two ankles? That's how i see it

He still has two ankles it's just a dislocated break. He'll recover and be back playing the same happened to the player at the Gooners who's name escapes me and he came back.

There were worse tackles in that match or was just the way he landed that was the problem. It looks horrible and is quite scary to look at he was probably in more shock than pain.

I see that Sky Sports are still reporting that Andre Gomes injury was caused by Son's tackle, in spite of the fact that their own pundits discussed their own footage and concluded that he did nothing wrong. WTF is wrong with them?

Any news on his appeal. I think I read somewhere it had to be today?

Yes, we have appealed.
Result expected Wednesday.
Means either Son doesn’t travel, or doesn’t attend appeal (players only do on maybe half the occasions anyway) or doesn’t do either.

So because Aurier isn't as "nice" as Son so it was his fault then. Get a fucking grip. It was an unfortunate accident initiated by Son's awkward tackle. His foot was broken before he got to Aurier

What? Get a grip yourself you plonker ? Such an angry response. Who hurt you Bullet?

It happened to be Aurier there. It could’ve been anyone but it was Aurier. The pic I saw showed Aurier’s foot right on top of Gomes’ foot.

Genuine question - Has it been confirmed that he broke it before Aurier’s challenge? I’ve seen reports that he may have got his foot caught in the grass but nothing confirmed. If it has been confirmed, can you direct me to a link as I still haven’t seen the incident replayed. If it hasn’t yet been confirmed....... then everything I’ve said stands. Whether Aurier’s challenge broke it or whether it was broken before he got there, Aurier’s foot right on top of his won’t have helped the situation and would’ve only made it worse. A lot worse maybe? But at no point did I blame Aurier so I have no idea why you’re talking about how nice he is or isn’t. The point I was making that you’ve blatantly missed is that there was no malicious intent by Son to injure Gomes and it shouldn’t have been a red.... and that from what I saw, the main reason he broke his foot is Aurier’s challenge, which doesn’t appear to be his fault either due to the way it all unfolded.

How have you survived being a Spurs fan these last forty-odd years if all you are interested in is results? I want entertaining football, and a team that I’m proud of and can buy into emotionally.

I’d like trophies too, mind, but what are the chances of that?

I have a feeling Son will want to accept his suspension to be honest. Hopefully he doesn't blame himself but he may feel it's fair he takes a suspension. He may need to recover mentally anyway and he may be a bit reluctant to put a strong challenge in for a bit.
